Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with Chanel lately, especially their star-themed jewelry. I decided to try and make my own Chanel-inspired star rings. It seemed like a fun little project, and honestly, who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle?

First, I gathered my materials. I already had some basic jewelry-making supplies like wire, pliers, and some beads. I knew I wanted a mix of gold and silver, so I made sure I had both colors of wire.
Finding the Stars
The trickiest part was finding star-shaped beads or charms. I checked out a few local craft stores, but no luck. Everything was either too big, too small, or just plain ugly. So I went online. I spent a good hour just browsing different online shops. Finally, I found some perfect little star charms – some gold, some silver, and some with a bit of a vintage vibe.
Putting it Together
Once the charms arrived, I got to work. I started by cutting the wire into manageable lengths. I’m not going to lie, my first few attempts were… rough. The wire kept bending in weird ways, and the stars wouldn’t sit right. I definitely bent a few wires out of shape, oops! But hey, that’s part of the process, right?
I figured out that using two pairs of pliers – one to hold the wire and one to bend – made things way easier. I experimented with different ways of attaching the stars. I tried wrapping the wire around them, but that looked messy. Eventually, I settled on making a small loop at the end of the wire, slipping the star charm on, and then closing the loop tightly with the pliers.
- Cut the wire.
- Make a loop.
- Add star charm.
- Close the loop.
The Finished Product(s!)
I ended up making a few different rings. Some with just one star, others with a cluster of smaller stars. I even added some tiny crystal beads to a couple for extra sparkle.

Honestly, I’m pretty happy with how they turned out! They’re not perfect, obviously, but they definitely have that Chanel-inspired vibe I was going for. And it was super satisfying to make something with my own hands. Plus, I saved a bunch of money compared to buying the real thing!
It is really a great experience! I recommend you guys to have a try!
