Well, let me tell you, I seen a lot of things in my day, but these white bags, they’re somethin’ else. You see ’em everywhere now. Big ones, little ones, all sorts. My granddaughter, she got one, says it’s the style. Says all the young folks carryin’ ’em. She’s always on about that fashion stuff. Me? I just need somethin’ to hold my things.
I remember back when, we just had our old sacks. Didn’t matter the color, long as it held together. Now it’s all about white. Clean white, like a fresh sheet on the line. And they come with all them fancy names. What are they? Her-mess, Channel, and Looey Vitton. Sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me. But, they cost a pretty penny, I tell ya! More than my whole month’s groceries! My granddaughter says they hold their value, these white bags, whatever that means. One of them’s called a “Neverfull.” Well, I reckon with what they cost, it oughta stay full of money!
Now, these white bags, they ain’t just for show, though. My granddaughter, she uses hers for everything. Says it’s good for a date, or even travelin’. I seen her stuff it full for a weekend trip. Fit a whole bunch of clothes and those little bottles of smelly stuff she uses. She says white goes with everything. Red shoes, bright shirts, them fancy jackets with all the patterns. I don’t know about all that, but she sure looks happy carryin’ it.

Just had to be strong enough to hold our taters and such.
Now, I heard you can get these white bags for cheap too. Not those fancy Her-mess ones, but others. They say there’s these brown ones, and suede ones that are just as good. My granddaughter, she showed me some on her phone. They had all these pictures of houses, too. Hundreds of ’em, all for sale, in some place called Montgomery. What that’s got to do with white bags, I don’t know. She clicks so fast on that phone, I can hardly keep up. They even have these Kate Spade ones. I don’t know who Kate Spade is, but she makes a lot of these white bags. They got black ones, too. My granddaughter likes those as well.

Seems like a lot of trouble for a bag, if you ask me.
They even got these big white bags for travelin’. Like little suitcases on wheels. My granddaughter, she’s always goin’ somewhere. Says she’s goin’ on a “city break.” Sounds like she’s gonna break somethin’ in the city to me. Or maybe she’s goin’ on one of them “long-haul adventures.” I don’t know what that is, but it sounds tirin’. She showed me these white bags they use for travelin’. Looked fancy, but I bet they get dirty real quick on those trips.

I think I’ll stick to my old sack. It may not be fancy, but it gets the job done. This whole white bag thing, it is too much for me.
My granddaughter told me I need to get with the times. She says these white bags are important. She looked at some reviews and says they are good. I do not know what to say to that. I guess if it makes her happy that is what matters. This world is changing too fast.
