Okay, here’s my blog post about my journey with women’s square toe boots:
So, I’ve been seeing square toe boots everywhere lately. I wasn’t sure at first – they seemed a little… different. But the more I saw them, the more I kinda wanted to try them out. My old boots were pretty beat up anyway, so I figured, why not?
The Hunt Begins
First, I started looking online. Just browsing, you know? I checked out a bunch of different stores to see what styles they had. There were SO many options! Short ones, tall ones, different heel heights… it was a little overwhelming, to be honest.
Narrowing it Down
I decided I wanted something I could wear pretty much every day. So, I ruled out anything with a super high heel. I also knew I wanted a pair in black – classic, goes with everything. I added a few pairs to my online shopping carts, just to keep track of them.
- Short ankle boots with a chunky heel.
- Mid-calf boots with a slightly more pointed square toe.
- Tall, almost-knee-high boots with a block heel.
Trying Them On (and the Struggle!)
Then came the hard part – actually trying them on. I went to a few stores near me. The first pair I tried? Way too tight. I could barely get my foot in! The second pair was better, but the toe box felt kinda weird. Like, too square.
A good Ending
I was about getting a new pair of boots, but, finally I found them! A pair of black, ankle-height square toe boots with a low, chunky heel. They were PERFECT. I slipped them on, and they fit like a glove. Not too tight, not too loose, and the square toe actually looked pretty cool! I was happy.

I’ve been wearing my new boots for a few weeks now, and I’m totally sold. They’re comfortable, stylish, and they go with everything. Definitely a good purchase!
