Alright, let’s talk about them jordan 3s white and red shoes, you know, the ones all them youngsters are crazy about.
I seen ’em on the TV, them fellas jumpin’ and runnin’ in ’em. Looked like mighty fine shoes, I tell ya. Folks callin’ ’em Air Jordans or somethin’. Sound fancy, don’t they?
Now, I don’t know much about all this shoe business. Back in my day, shoes was shoes. You wore ’em ’til they fell apart, then you got new ones. But these here Jordans, they somethin’ special, I reckon. People payin’ good money for ’em, more than I paid for my first car, probably!
Anyways, these white and red ones, they’re real popular, I hear. Folks call ’em “White Cement” or somethin’, and some other ones they call “Retro” and “OG.” Land sakes, so many names! Makes my head spin.
I asked my grandson, Billy, he’s always glued to that phone of his, about these shoes. He told me they got a “Retro OG ‘Black Cement’ 2024” and a “Retro ‘White Cement Reimagined’” too. Sounded like a whole bunch of jibber jabber to me. But he said them white and red ones, especially the ones with that red jumpin’ fella on ’em, thems the ones everyone wants.

- And then, I guess, they just feel good on your feet. Billy said they got air in the bottom or somethin’. Walkin’ on clouds, he said. Well, I’d like to walk on clouds, wouldn’t you?
But where do you get these shoes, you ask? Well, that’s the tricky part. Billy says you can get ’em at all sorts of places. There’s this “GOAT” place, and somethin’ called “Flight Club,” and even this place called “Stadium Goods.” Sounds like a bunch of highfalutin stores to me. He says they got all sorts of Jordan shoes, old ones, new ones, all kinds.
He also mentioned somethin’ ’bout eBay. Said you can find deals there sometimes. But you gotta be careful, he says, ’cause some folks are tryin’ to sell fakes. Imagine that! Payin’ all that money for fake shoes. Wouldn’t that just beat all?
So, how much these shoes cost? Well, that depends. Billy says the really old ones, the ones they call “OG,” them can cost a pretty penny. Like, a lot of pennies. The newer ones, they ain’t so bad, but they still ain’t cheap. You gotta save up your egg money, I tell ya.
Now, me, I ain’t gonna be buyin’ no jordan 3s white and red. My old work boots do me just fine. But if you young folks wanna spend your money on fancy shoes, that’s your business. Just make sure you can still afford to put food on the table, ya hear?
And don’t you go buyin’ no fakes! If you gonna spend that kind of money, make sure you get the real deal. Go to them fancy stores Billy was talkin’ about, or find a good fella on eBay who ain’t tryin’ to rip you off.

Well, good for you, I say. Just don’t forget where you came from, and don’t go lookin’ down your nose at folks who ain’t got fancy shoes.
