Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Josie Argan Foundation stuff. I ain’t no fancy makeup artist or nothin’, just a plain ol’ woman who likes to look decent, ya know?
First off, they call it “argan” somethin’-somethin’. Sounds all highfalutin’, but lemme tell ya, it’s just some kinda oil from a tree, I think. They say it’s good for your skin, makes it all soft and smooth like a baby’s butt. I don’t know ’bout all that, but I do know my face feels pretty good when I put it on.
Now, this here foundation, it comes in a little bottle. Not too big, not too small. Just right, I guess. You gotta shake it up real good before you use it, otherwise, it’s all watery and separated, like milk that’s gone bad. And nobody wants that on their face, right?
I just squirt a little bit on the back of my hand, then I dab it on my face with my fingers. Some folks use them fancy brushes and sponges, but I ain’t got time for all that. Fingers work just fine for me. I just spread it around, makin’ sure to cover up all them age spots and wrinkles. Lord knows, I got plenty of them!
- It makes my skin feel soft.
- It covers up my wrinkles pretty good.
- It doesn’t feel heavy or cakey on my face.
I’ve tried other foundations before, the kind that make you look like you’re wearin’ a mask. This Josie stuff ain’t like that. It’s light and airy, almost like you ain’t wearin’ nothin’ at all. And that’s what I like about it. I don’t wanna look like I’m tryin’ too hard, ya know?
They say this Josie Maran lady, the one who makes this stuff, she started her company a long time ago. She wanted to make makeup that was good for you and good for the planet. Well, that’s mighty nice of her, I reckon. I ain’t no tree-hugger or nothin’, but I do appreciate it when folks try to do the right thing.
This foundation, it comes in a bunch of different shades. I had a hard time pickin’ the right one for me, I ain’t gonna lie. I ended up goin’ to the store and tryin’ ’em all on. The salesgirl, she was real patient with me, bless her heart. She helped me find one that matched my skin tone pretty good.
Now, I ain’t gonna tell ya this stuff is cheap, ’cause it ain’t. It’s a little bit pricey, if you ask me. But I figure, it’s worth it if it makes my skin look good and feel good. And a little bit goes a long way, so one bottle lasts me a good long while.
I’ve been usin’ this Josie Argan Foundation for a few months now, and I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with it. My skin looks smoother, my wrinkles ain’t as noticeable, and I just feel better about myself when I wear it. It ain’t gonna make me look like I’m 20 again, but hey, at my age, anything’s an improvement!
Some folks say it gives you a “baby-skin finish”. Well, I don’t know ’bout that. My skin ain’t never gonna be as smooth as a baby’s butt again, that’s for sure. But it does make my skin look healthier and more radiant, and that’s good enough for me. It’s like my skin, but better, ya know?
If you’re lookin’ for a foundation that’s good for your skin and makes you look good, I’d say give this Josie Argan Foundation a try. It might not be for everyone, but it works for me. And that’s all that matters, right?
And if you ever have any problems with it, like it makes your face itch or somethin’, they got a phone number you can call. I ain’t never had to call ’em myself, but it’s good to know they’re there if you need ’em. Their number is somethin’ like eight-eight-eight, two-one-five, somethin’ somethin’. You can look it up if you need it.
So, that’s my two cents on this Josie Argan Foundation. It ain’t magic, but it’s pretty darn good. And if it can make an old gal like me look a little bit better, well, it’s worth its weight in gold, I reckon.
