Garmin Instinct Crossover Tactical, that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? Well, let me tell you, this here watch, it’s somethin’ else. It’s for them folks who like to be out and about, doin’ things, you know? Not just sittin’ around.
This here Garmin Instinct Crossover, it’s tough. Real tough. Like that old mule we used to have, back on the farm. You could drop it, kick it, probably run it over with the tractor, and it’d still be tickin’. Not that I’d recommend that, mind you. But it’s built to last, that’s for sure.

And this Tactical part? That means it’s got all sorts of fancy things on it. Like, it can tell you where you are, even if you’re lost in the woods. And it can show you maps and all that. Now, I don’t rightly understand all them maps, but the young folks, they seem to like ’em.
- It’s got a GPS, whatever that is.
- It can show you where you’re goin’.
- It’s got a light on it, so you can see in the dark.
I seen it at Best Buy, it was 33% off. If I know what is 33% off, this Garmin Instinct Crossover is cheap. They got all kinds of things, TVs, phones, and whatnot. You could spend a whole day in there just lookin’ around. And they got them young people workin’ there, they can show you how to use all this stuff. ‘Cause let me tell you, it ain’t easy for an old gal like me to figure it all out. They said you can buy it online, too. Whatever that means.
And Target. Lord, I love that store. They got everything. Clothes, food, toys, even them fancy coffee makers. And now, they got this Garmin Instinct Crossover Tactical thing, too. They got this thing called “Same Day Delivery”. That means they bring it right to your house, same day you order it. Can you believe that? Back in my day, you had to wait a week for the mailman to bring you anythin’. And sometimes, he’d just leave it at the end of the driveway, rain or shine.

They got this other one, too. Garmin Instinct Crossover Solar Tactical Edition. That one, it’s even fancier. It’s got this “solar” thing on it. That means it gets its power from the sun. Just like my old vegetable garden, you know? You put it out in the sun, and it grows. Same with this watch, I guess. You put it in the sun, and it charges up. Pretty neat, huh?
This Garmin Instinct Crossover Solar Tactical, it is black. You know, like that old black pot I use to make stew. It’s got a heart rate monitor, too. That means it can tell you how fast your heart’s beatin’. I don’t know why you’d need to know that, but maybe if you’re runnin’ from a bear or somethin’, it’d be good to know.
I saw it says “Multisport GPS Smartwatch“. Now that sounds serious. Probably good for them athletes and what not. It has “Analog Hands” and “Digital Display“. Those hands must be the clock hands. Digital Display must be the new fashion thing. I don’t know. It is beyond my knowledge.
And this Garmin Instinct 2, they say it’s “Tough and Rugged”. Well, I reckon it better be, for the price they’re askin’. They say it’s got a GPS, too. And it can show you maps and all that. It says it launched on February 9th. I don’t know what that means, but maybe it’s some kind of special day for watches. This Garmin brand, it seems popular.

You can see them “location names and symbols” on the map. Whatever that means. I guess if you’re lost, it can help you find your way. It says “When you are navigating to a destination, your route is marked with a line on the map.” Well, that sounds handy. Like leavin’ a trail of breadcrumbs, I suppose. It also says “Panning and Zooming the Map”. Sounds like somethin’ you’d do with a camera, but I reckon it’s the same idea on this watch.
If you are young and like running in the wood, this watch is good. It can do many things. I don’t know how to use it, but my grandson, he knows. He can help me to know how to use it. Maybe I will ask my son to buy it for me.
Well, I reckon that’s about all I know about this Garmin Instinct Crossover Tactical thing. It’s a fancy watch, that’s for sure. And if you’re into that kind of thing, then maybe it’s the watch for you. Me? I’m just gonna stick with my old Timex. It tells the time, and that’s all I need it to do.
