Okay, so Halloween is coming, and you know my girlfriend and I always try to do something fun and topical. This year, it was a no-brainer: Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. Seriously, they’re everywhere! It was surprisingly easy to pull off, and I gotta share how we did it, in case anyone wants to try it for themself.

Getting the Travis Look
First, the Travis part. That’s me, obviously. I already had a few things that helped.
- Kansas City Chiefs Jersey: I’m a huge fan,I didn’t have a Kelce one. I got lucky to get one. If you don’t have one I think that will be the big problem.
- Athletic Shorts: Easy peasy. Any red or black athletic shorts will work fine.
- Sneakers: I have a pair of white high-tops that worked perfectly.
The only thing I really needed was the signature Travis Kelce mustache.I used some black face paint. My girlfriend helped me shape it right. It took a couple of tries, but we got it looking pretty good.
Transforming into Taylor
Now, for my girlfriend’s Taylor transformation. This part was a little more involved, but still not too bad.
- Sequin Dress: The most important thing! We looked for a sparkly, red, short dress.
- Red Lipstick: Classic Taylor! My girlfriend already owns like five different shades of red lipstick.
- Blonde Wig(Optional): She considered a wig, but her hair is light * your partner has dark hair, a wig would help.
She did her makeup with a bold red lip, some winged eyeliner, and a little bit of sparkle on her eyelids. She looked amazing!
The Finishing Touches
We looked in mirror. And,done!

It was super fun, and we got a lot of compliments. Definitely a win for a last-minute costume idea!
