Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get my hands on the Dunk Low Valentine’s Day edition for a while. I finally decided to go for it, and here’s how it all went down.

First, I started by looking for it in every store, of course, it’s all gone, so I had to look for another way out.
I checked a few resell platforms. Prices were all over the place, some were crazy high, others seemed a bit more reasonable, but you never really know if you’re getting a legit pair, right?
Then, I remembered a friend mentioning a local sneaker group on social media. I joined the group and posted a “looking for” message, hoping someone might be willing to sell a pair.
A few days went by, and I got a couple of responses. One guy’s price was way too high, but another seemed okay. We chatted a bit, he sent me some pictures, and everything looked good.
Negotiate the price.
I offered it to him at a slightly lower price, and after a little back and forth, we reached an agreement that worked.

Meet and inspect.
- We agreed to meet up at a public place. Always do this, safety first!
- I checked the shoes thoroughly when we met. I’m no expert, but I compared them to pictures online, looked at the stitching, the materials, and the box.
- Everything looked good, the box, no defects.
Finally, I paid the guy, and the Dunk Low Valentine’s Day were mine! It took some effort, but it was worth it. I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out.
