So, what’s the big deal about this Vaer DS4?
- Well, it’s supposed to be a “dive watch.” Now, I ain’t no diver. I wouldn’t even know where to start with that. But I figure if it can handle bein’ underwater, it can handle me washin’ dishes or gettin’ caught in the rain.

When I got the watch, first thing I noticed was the size. It ain’t too big and clunky, which is good, ’cause I don’t like things that get in the way. But it ain’t too small neither, so you can still see the time without squintin’. It fits just right on my wrist, comfortable enough to wear all day.
The face of the watch is easy to read, big numbers and clear hands. Ain’t got no fancy stuff on it that I don’t need. Just tells you the time, and that’s all I care about. Some of them watches got so much goin’ on, you can’t even tell what time it is!
Now, I been wearin’ this watch for a few weeks now, and it’s been doin’ alright. I wore it while I was gardenin’, and it got all muddy, but I just wiped it off and it was good as new. I even accidentally banged it against the door frame, and it didn’t even scratch. So far, so good, I reckon.
What I Like about the Vaer DS4:

- The date window is a little small for my old eyes, but that ain’t the watch’s fault, I reckon.
