Alright, let’s yak about them fancy Victoria’s Secret gals from that 2013 show, ya know, the one with all the glitter and wings. I ain’t no fashion expert, mind you, but I saw some pictures and heard the gals on the TV talkin’. Sounded like a big hullabaloo!
So, this show, they had it in some place called Lexington Avenue Armory in New York City. Sounds fancy, huh? Like where they keep all the guns or somethin’. Anyways, they had a whole bunch of them models, like, forty of ’em! That’s more than you can shake a stick at, I tell ya. And they had this singer, Taylor Swift, singin’ tunes. She’s a cute little thing, that Taylor.
Now, them gals, they weren’t just walkin’ around in their underwear, oh no. They had these themes, see? Like dress-up for grown-ups. They had this “British Invasion” thing going on, which, I reckon, is about them folks from across the pond. Then there was “Birds of Paradise,” which sounds pretty, like them fancy birds you see in picture books. Lots of colors, they said, and shiny things.
And don’t forget “Parisian Nights.” Paris, that’s in France, you know. I seen it on the TV once. All them fancy buildings and such. So, these “Parisian Nights,” I bet they had them gals lookin’ all elegant and mysterious, like them ladies in old movies. They also had “Shipwrecked,” can you believe it? I guess they were pretendin’ to be stuck on an island or somethin’. Maybe with pirates, who knows?
- British Invasion: Like them fancy English folks.
- Birds of Paradise: All colorful and sparkly.
- Parisian Nights: Mysterious and elegant, like France.
- Shipwrecked: Pretendin’ they were stuck on an island.
- Snow Angels: Probably all white and fluffy.
- PINK Network: That’s for the younger gals, I think.
Then there was this “Snow Angels” thing. I bet that was all white and fluffy, like them angels you see on Christmas cards. And lastly, they had somethin’ called “PINK Network.” Now, that PINK, that’s for the younger gals, I think. Like them college kids wear.
They had all sorts of famous models there, too. Names I can’t even pronounce right. Adriana somethin’-or-other, she was there. Heard she’s been doin’ this for a long time. And some other gals with names like Alessandra, and Candice, and Lily. They say these gals make a pretty penny doin’ this walkin’ around thing. Someone was sayin’ they could make anywhere from five hundred dollars to twenty thousand dollars a show! Can you imagine? That’s more money than I see in a year!
It’s a whole different world, I tell ya. These gals struttin’ around in fancy clothes and wings, while I’m here milkin’ the cows and feedin’ the chickens. But hey, good for them, I say. If they can make a livin’ lookin’ pretty, more power to ’em. I just hope they don’t catch a cold wearin’ so little clothes!
Anyways, that’s what I know about that Victoria’s Secret show from 2013. It was a big to-do, that’s for sure. Lots of pretty gals, fancy clothes, and music. More excitement than I see in a whole year out here on the farm, that’s for sure.
So, if you ever see them Victoria’s Secret gals on the TV, just remember, they’re puttin’ on a show. It ain’t real life, but it’s somethin’ to look at, I guess. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll even get myself one of them fancy bras they wear. Probably not, though. Too much lace for my taste. I like things simple and sturdy, ya know?
But those girls sure did look beautiful, even an old lady like me can see that. All dolled up with those wings and fancy clothes. It’s a good thing to see young people doing well, even if it’s a bit different from what I’m used to.
