Okay, so, let’s talk about these summer platform sandals I’ve been trying out. I saw a bunch of people wearing them online, and I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

First off, I went online to see what was available. I spent some time browsing through different styles and colors, just to get an idea of what I liked. I ended up choosing a simple pair with beige straps and a cork-style platform. They looked pretty versatile, and I figured I could wear them with a lot of different outfits.
Getting them on my feet was a whole other story. It took a little bit of time to adjust the straps, but once I got them fitted, they were surprisingly comfortable. I walked around my apartment, doing some chores, just to see how they felt. Honestly, they were pretty good! I could see myself wearing them all day.
Trying Different Looks
-
Sundresses: My first idea was to wear them with some of my sundresses. I have a flowy, floral one that I thought would be perfect. And you know what? It totally worked! The sandals added a little height and made the whole outfit look a bit more put together. I even wore this combo out to lunch with a friend, and she gave me a thumbs up.
-
Jeans and a Tee: Next, I wanted to see how they’d look with a more casual outfit. I pulled out my favorite pair of jeans and a simple white tee. Rolled up the jeans a bit to show off the sandals. It was a cute, laid-back look, perfect for running errands or grabbing coffee.
-
Shorts: And then, of course, I had to try them with shorts. I mean, it’s summer, right? I have these denim shorts that I love, and they looked great with the sandals. The whole thing just screamed “summer vibes.” I wore this outfit to a barbecue, and I felt great the whole time.
After all this experimenting, I’m pretty happy with these platform sandals. They’re comfortable, they go with a lot of my clothes, and they make me feel a little bit more dressed up, even when I’m just wearing something simple. I also tried wearing them with skinny jeans and a graphic tee. It gave me this edgy, urban look that I really liked. I might even try them with some leather leggings in the fall. Overall, I’d say these sandals are a win. I’m definitely going to be wearing them a lot this summer!
Oh, and one more thing! I tried wearing my sandals with a blazer and some loose-fitting jeans for work. It was a surprisingly good combo! The sandals made the outfit a bit more casual, but the blazer kept it professional enough. It’s a thumbs-up from me. I wore these sandals out to dinner with a ruched dress, and the sandals made the whole look feel more relaxed and fun. It was a total win.
