Well, let me tell you somethin’ about them New York Knicks Jordans. My grandson, he’s crazy about ’em. Says they’re the best shoes for playing basketball. I don’t know nothin’ about basketball, but I do know those shoes are somethin’ special.
Them Jordans, they came out a long time ago. It was somethin’ like, back in the 80s. Some fella named Michael Jordan, he was a big shot basketball player, played for some team called the Chicago Bulls. These shoes, they was made just for him. Some fellas, Peter, Tinker, and Bruce, they made these shoes for a company called Nike. That’s what I heard, anyway.

Now, these Knicks Jordans, they’re a special kind. They got that orange and blue, just like the Knicks team. My grandson, he got a pair, and he says the leather is real nice and soft. Not like those cheap shoes that fall apart after a week. These ones are made to last, he says. That’s why they call ’em Air Jordan 3 ‘Knicks’, I reckon.
Heard they came out in 2019, September 14th, that’s what they say. I don’t know about all that, but I do know they’re popular. Everyone’s wearin’ ’em. Even them fancy folks on TV, they wear these Jordans. They’re sellin’ like hotcakes, that’s for sure. They say you gotta buy ’em online now, on some place called StockX. It’s all a bit much for me, but I guess that’s how it is these days.
They got all kinds of these Jordans, different colors and whatnot. They got some called “Seoul,” whatever that means. They came out in 2018, March, I think. All I know is, they’re popular, and everyone wants a pair. My grandson says they’re gonna make more of ’em in 2024. More Jordans comin’ out, all the time.
He was talkin’ about some called “Jordan 3 Black Cement.” Said they’re real special, top of the list, whatever that means. All these names, it’s hard to keep up. But these New York Knicks Jordans, those are the ones he really likes.
These shoes, they got that number 10 on ’em too. Jordan 10 OG New York Knicks, that’s what they call ’em. They got all the dates and numbers, 130209-103, somethin’ like that. It’s all too much for me to remember. But my grandson, he knows all about it. He’s got a whole list of these shoes, when they’re comin’ out, all that stuff.

They say these shoes are connected to that Michael Jordan fella. He’s a big deal, I guess. And these Knicks, they’re a big deal too. They play in New York, that big city. It’s all tied together, these shoes and that basketball team. Jordan and the New York Knicks, they go together like peanut butter and jelly.
I don’t know much about basketball or these fancy shoes. But I know my grandson loves ’em. And if he’s happy, I’m happy. These New York Knicks Jordans, they’re more than just shoes. They’re somethin’ special, somethin’ people get excited about. Like a piece of that basketball world, right there on your feet.
Well, that’s all I know about them New York Knicks Jordans. It’s a lot of fuss over some shoes, if you ask me. But the kids love ’em, and that’s all that matters. They keep makin’ more, and folks keep buyin’ ’em. It’s a crazy world, this shoe business. But hey, as long as they keep my grandson happy, I ain’t complainin’.
These young folks and their sneakers. They got lists, dates, all that stuff. Upcoming sneaker release dates, they call it. Air Jordan, Nike Dunk, all those names. It’s a whole other language, I tell ya. But if it makes ’em happy, then it’s all good.
