This here Palace CP Company, oh boy, it’s somethin’ else. You see, I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it, and it got me all riled up. This Palace CP Company, it’s like a big deal, you know?
They got these clothes, all fancy lookin’, but not like the stuff I used to wear. They call ’em “jackets” and “coats,” but they look like what them city boys wear when they go to their fancy football games. I reckon they is warm, though. That’s important, keepin’ warm. That CP Company, they sure know how to make a warm jacket. Good for the winter, keep that cold out.

- And “duffle coats,” sound like somethin’ you’d carry your stuff in.
- And “bombers,” I don’t know what that is, but it sounds tough.
I seen pictures, all these young’uns wearin’ ’em. They got these shirts too, called “T-shirts,” plain as day. And pants, nothin’ special lookin’. And bags, for carryin’ things, I guess. They say the CP company and the Palace CP Company is good quality. That’s what matters, somethin’ that lasts. I remember back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy names. We just had clothes. But these, they say they’re special. I don’t know ’bout that, but they sure look expensive. They talk about the “football hooligans” and that this Palace CP is somethin’ they like.
They say this CP Company, it’s been around a long time, makin’ clothes. Lots of ’em, too. Thousands! I can’t even imagine that many clothes. These young people, they like to wear this stuff, all over. It’s like a secret club, wearin’ these clothes. And now it’s this Palace CP Company, and it’s a whole thing.
They make those goggle jackets, they got like little windows on ’em. And these sweatshirts, they got a little thing on the sleeve, like a little eye lookin’ at ya. I don’t know why they need that, but the young’uns, they like it. It’s a mystery to me, all this. But if it keeps ’em warm, I guess that’s all that matters, right? These Palace CP clothes are for the young folks. And they like to spend their money on these things, and that’s their business.
They say this Palace CP Company, it’s somethin’ new. Like they took the old stuff and made it even fancier. That is what the young people like. They like new things. I remember when new things were a rarity, somethin’ special. Now, it’s every day somethin’ new. Hard to keep up. But this CP Company and Palace CP, they seem to know what they’re doin’. They say it is “casual luxe” and is a wardrobe staple.
I saw some of these clothes, they got all these colors. Bright ones, too. Not like the colors we used to wear. We had brown, and maybe blue, if you were lucky. These young’uns, they wear all kinds of colors. They got that bright blue and green, oh boy. It is bright. Like a peacock! This Palace CP Company, they got all the colors, I reckon.
They say this stuff is for everyone, but I don’t know. Seems like it’s for the young folks with money to spend. Not for folks like me. I’m happy with my old clothes. They keep me warm, and that’s all I need. But these Palace CP Company clothes, they’re somethin’ else. They’re like a whole different world, this clothin’ world.
I heard they did this before, this Palace CP Company thing. A couple of years ago. That is what they say. And now they’re doin’ it again. Must be popular, I guess. If somethin’s popular, people will buy it. That’s just how it is. And if they are making money with this CP Company and the Palace CP, then good for them. They is smart.
They got these fancy names for everything. “Chrome-R Overshirt,” “Gabardine Overshirt.” I don’t know what those words mean, but they sound important. Like somethin’ you’d wear to a fancy party. I ain’t been to a fancy party in years. This Palace CP Company, it’s for the fancy folks, I guess. Or the folks who want to be fancy. I don’t know about these names and these styles. I just know what keeps you warm and what lasts a long time. That’s what I look for in clothes. But this Palace CP Company, it’s a whole different thing. It is for the young people. And that’s okay. They can have their fancy clothes, and I’ll keep my old ones. We’re all happy that way, I reckon. They said the Palace CP is from “FW23”. I don’t know what that means. But it must be important to these young people. They got all these codes and names for things.
This world, it’s changin’ so fast. Hard to keep up with all these new things. But as long as folks are happy, that’s all that matters, right? And these young’uns, they seem happy with their Palace CP Company clothes. So that’s good. That’s good.
