Red by Valentino: Hot New Arrivals You Cant Miss

by Joyce Mackintosh

Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… uh… “red by valentino” thing. Sounds fancy, don’t it? I ain’t no fashion expert, mind you. I’m just tellin’ ya what I see and what I hear.

Red by Valentino: Hot New Arrivals You Cant Miss

So, this “red by valentino,” it’s like… clothes, I reckon. Fancy clothes for women, mostly. They got all sorts of stuff, dresses and… other things. My granddaughter, she’s always lookin’ at these things in magazines. Says it’s all the rage, whatever that means.

  • Dresses, yeah, lots of dresses.
  • Shirts, I guess. The kind you wear to church, maybe fancier.
  • Pants too, but not the workin’ kind, mind you. More like…dress-up pants.

They say it’s “romantic” and “cool.” Romantic? I guess that means pretty, like somethin’ you’d wear on a date. Cool? Well, I guess that means it ain’t stuffy, not like them old clothes my grandma used to wear. This “red by valentino,” it’s supposed to be, you know, modern, like the young folks like it.

Now, they use all these big words, like “diffusion line” and “contemporary.” Don’t ask me what that means. Sounds like somethin’ they made up to charge more money, if you ask me. But they say it’s cheaper than the real Valentino stuff. Valentino, that’s a big name, I hear. Like… the Cadillac of clothes, I guess. So, this “red” thing is like… the Chevy, maybe? Still good, but not quite as fancy or as expensive.

They got this… “Paris red” color, they talk about. Red, like a fire truck, I guess. Bold, they call it. And animal prints! Leopard spots and such. Seems a bit wild for my taste, but then again, I ain’t exactly the target audience, am I?

This “red by valentino,” they started it a while back, 2003 they say. That’s… what, twenty years ago? Time flies, don’t it? They call it “REDValentino” all squished together, and it stands for somethin’… “Romantic Eccentric Dress.” Eccentric? That means… unusual, I think. So, it’s pretty and unusual clothes. Alright, I can see that.

They use all sorts of fancy materials, too. Tulle, that’s that see-through stuff, like in wedding veils. Lace, like grandma’s old doilies. Embroidery, that’s the little stitched pictures. And bows! Lots of bows, I hear. All the things to make a dress look, well, fancy. They mix and match, high and low, street and couture. Street? That’s like, everyday clothes, right? Couture… now that’s the real high-falutin’ stuff. So, they’re mixin’ the everyday with the fancy, I guess. Make it sound more… down to earth, maybe?

This Valentino fella, he started it all back in 1960. That’s a long time ago. Italian fella, I hear. Now, they got some new guy designin’ the clothes, Alessandro Michele. Probably some young whippersnapper with all sorts of new ideas. He makes all sorts of lines… Valentino, Valentino Garavani, Valentino Roma… and this “red by valentino” too, I reckon. Lots of names, lots of clothes.

You can buy this “red by valentino” in lots of places, they say. Over six hundred stores! And online, of course. Everybody’s buyin’ stuff online these days. You can compare prices, find the best deals. They always got new stuff comin’ in, “new arrivals” they call ‘em. Seems like they’re always makin’ somethin’ new to sell.

So, that’s what I know about “red by valentino.” It’s fancy clothes, for women, a bit cheaper than the real Valentino stuff, but still pretty fancy. Romantic, cool, bold… with lots of bows and frills. You can find it in stores and online, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ like that. Me? I’ll stick to my old cotton dresses. They’re comfortable and they get the job done. But hey, to each their own, right?

If you are lookin’ for somethin’ fancy, maybe this “red by valentino” is just the ticket. Just remember, it ain’t cheap, but they say it’s worth it. Or somethin’ like that. I wouldn’t know, mind you. I’m just tellin’ it like I hear it.

And that’s about all I got to say about that “red by valentino” thing. It’s a whole different world, that fashion world. Full of big words and fancy clothes. I’ll stick to my garden and my chickens, thank you very much.
