Hey there, honey. Let me tell you somethin’ about them rappers with liquor brands. You see them on the TV, singin’ and dancin’, always got a bottle in their hand. And some of them, they got their own drinks now! Fancy, huh? It’s all about the money, you know. They make the music, they sell the drinks, it’s all one big business.

I heard some fellas, them rappers, they sing about their drinks all the time in their songs. They put the name right in the song, like a big ol’ commercial. That’s how they get people to buy it, I reckon. Like that Snoop Dogg fella, he’s got that Gin & Juice drink. Named it right after his song, he did! Smart fella, that Snoop. Everybody knows that song, now everybody gonna know that drink. That gin and juice must be good, cause everybody sings about it. It’s some kind of mixed drink, ready to go in a can. That’s what the young folks like, I guess.

And there’s another one, Diddy. He’s big shot, that one. Got his own vodka, called Ciroc. Big fancy name, ain’t it? Heard it’s owned by some big company, Diageo. They say he’s the one who made that Ciroc big time, back in 2007. Before that, nobody even heard of it. He put it on the map, they say. Now everybody wants to be like Diddy, makin’ their own drinks. He started the whole thing, I reckon. He’s like the big daddy of them rapper drinks.

Then there’s this Hennessy. I always see that one, they sing about it all the time. Kendrick, Ye, 2pac, all them big stars. Everyone’s drinkin’ Hennessy. It’s like the big thing, you know? Must be some good stuff. I don’t know what it tastes like, but they sure do love it. They say it’s some kind of cognac. Must be real strong. They always got the bottle in their hand in the music video, flashin’ it around.

  • Snoop Dogg – Gin & Juice
  • Diddy – Ciroc Vodka
  • Hennessy – Popular in Rap Songs
  • Rick Ross – Belaire

Then that Rick Ross fella, he’s got somethin’ called Belaire. It’s some kind of wine, they say. Sparkling wine, from France. Fancy, huh? He’s not just singin’ about it, he’s sellin’ it! He’s a brand ambassador, they call it. That means he gets paid to tell everybody how good it is. He probably drinks for free, I bet. That’s good, if you can make money and drink for free.

So you see, these rappers, they ain’t just makin’ music anymore. They’re in the liquor business now. It’s all about makin’ that money. And they’re good at it, too. They know how to get people to buy their stuff. They put it in their songs, they show it off on TV, and everybody wants to be like them. It’s like, if you drink what the rappers drink, you’ll be cool, too. That’s what they want you to think, anyway.

I don’t know much about that kind of life, but I do know that rappers and liquor go together like peas and carrots. They always sing about those fancy drinks. It’s a part of their image, I guess. Like a cowboy with his hat, or a farmer with his overalls. These rappers, they got their music and their liquor. It’s just the way it is. They like to show off, you know? Big cars, big houses, big bottles of liquor. That’s the rapper life, I reckon.

And it’s not just about the money, I think they really like them drinks. They always got a bottle near by. It’s like their friend. And some of them, they even make the drinks themselves! Like they’re some kind of expert or somethin’. But I guess if you drink enough of it, you become an expert, right? So them rappers, they know a thing or two about liquor brands, I guess.

It is big business, that’s all I know. These rappers with liquor brands, they’re makin’ a killin’. Good for them, I say. If you got a talent, use it. And if you can make some money along the way, even better. Just don’t forget where you came from, that’s what I always say. And don’t drink too much of that stuff, it ain’t good for you. Everything in moderation, that’s the key.

So next time you see them rappers on TV, with their fancy cars and their big bottles, just remember what I told you. It’s all part of the show. And it’s all about the money. But hey, who am I to judge? Everyone’s gotta make a livin’, right? Even them rappers with liquor brands.
