Today, I’m gonna talk about this perfume I’ve been trying out – Pure Musc by Narciso Rodriguez. I’ve heard a lot about it, and I finally got my hands on a bottle to see what the hype is all about.

First off, I sniffed it right out of the bottle. The first thing that hit me was this clean, musky smell. It’s not overpowering, though. It’s kinda soft and subtle. Then, I noticed some floral notes in there, which made it smell really fresh and a bit sophisticated, you know? It wasn’t just a one-note kind of scent.
So, I sprayed a bit on my wrists and neck. Initially, it smelled pretty much the same as in the bottle, but after a while, it started to change. That’s when I could really smell the woody notes. It got a bit warmer and deeper. It’s like the scent evolved throughout the day. I also caught whiffs of something spicy, maybe black pepper, which added a nice little kick to it.
Wear Test
- Started my day with a couple of spritzes.
- Went about my usual routine – work, errands, you name it.
- Checked in every few hours to see how the scent was holding up.
Surprisingly, it lasted a good while. I could still smell it on me by the end of the day, but it wasn’t as strong as in the morning, obviously. It became more of a skin scent, which I actually liked. It felt more personal and intimate that way.
Throughout the day, I got a few compliments on it. People said I smelled “clean” and “fresh”, which is always nice to hear. No one seemed to find it too strong or anything, so that’s a plus. I think this perfume is one of those that kinda blends with your natural scent, creating something unique. It doesn’t scream for attention, but it definitely makes its presence known in a classy way.
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with Pure Musc. It’s a versatile scent that I can see myself wearing both during the day and for evenings out. It’s not too heavy for summer, but it also has that warmth that would work well in colder months. Definitely a keeper in my book!
