First things first, I started digging around. What’s Nike looking for in a creative director? What kind of interview questions do they even ask? I hit up the internet, searching for anything I could find – articles, forums, you name it. I wanted to know what I was getting myself into. I found some good stuff, too. Tips on how to prepare, what to expect, the whole nine yards. I even found some example questions, which was super helpful. You know, stuff like “Why Nike?” and “Tell us about your leadership style.”

Preparation Game Strong

Armed with this info, I started prepping. I mean, really prepping. I practiced answering those example questions out loud. It felt weird at first, talking to myself, but it helped me get my thoughts in order. I wanted to sound natural, not like some robot spitting out memorized answers. I thought about my past experiences, you know, times I led a team, came up with creative campaigns, and how they’d relate to what Nike does. So, what’s next? Well, I’m not giving up. I’m going to keep honing my skills, keep learning, and keep trying. Maybe I’ll apply again in the future, or maybe I’ll find another opportunity that’s just as good, if not better. Who knows? The important thing is, I gave it my best shot, and I’m not going to let this setback define me. It’s all part of the journey, right? I’m going to take what I learned and use it to become even better, even more prepared for the next challenge. So, yeah, that’s my story. It’s not a success story, not yet anyway.
