Alright, folks, let me tell you about my little adventure with this “Nostalgia” quest in Escape from Tarkov. I heard about this Jaeger guy, apparently, he’s the one who gives you those really annoying quests. But hey, I was curious, so I decided to give it a shot.

First thing I did was head over to the Shoreline map. I heard that this photo album thing was somewhere in the West Wing of the Resort. Sounds simple enough, right? Well, sort of.
So, I gear up, you know, the usual stuff – decent gun, some meds, the whole nine yards. I sneak my way into the resort, heart pounding like crazy because, you know, it’s Tarkov. Every creak, every footstep had me on edge. It’s like a horror movie, but you’re the main character.
I finally make it to the West Wing, and I’m looking for room 303. I’m tiptoeing around, checking corners, expecting someone to jump out at me any second. But luckily, it’s quiet. Too quiet, maybe…?
I find room 303, and guess what? The door’s unlocked! I’m like, “Seriously? That’s it?” I was expecting some crazy locked door or a hidden switch or something. But nope, just a regular unlocked door.
I creep inside, and there’s this dresser. The tip I got said the photo album is in the third drawer. I open it up, and bam! There it is. A simple photo album, just sitting there. It felt almost anticlimactic after all that sneaking around.

I grab the album, and now I gotta get out of there alive. The escape is a whole other story. Let’s just say I had a few close calls, but I made it out with the album. All in all, it was a weird mix of tension and simplicity. That’s Tarkov for you, I guess. Always keeps you on your toes!
- Went to Shoreline.
- Found West Wing of the Resort.
- Located room 303.
- Door was unlocked, just walked in.
- Found the photo album in the third drawer of a dresser.
- Got out alive, somehow.
So yeah, that was my experience with the “Nostalgia” quest. Not as hard as I thought it would be, but still an adventure. If you’re playing Tarkov and need that album, now you know where to find it. Stay safe out there, and happy hunting!
