Back in my day, we didn’t have none of this. We had faces, sure, but we didn’t go around plastering them everywhere for everyone to see. What’s so special about this Nicole Schaffer face, anyways? Is she some kind of movie star? One of them reality TV folks maybe?
I heard some folks sayin’ she was on that Jersey Shore show. They say she was a real handful. Spoiled, they said. Stuck up. Well, ain’t that just the way these days? Young folks get a little bit of fame and fortune, and they think they’re better than everyone else.
Then there’s this other Nicole, last name Kidman. Big movie star, that one. I seen her in some of them pictures. Fancy lady. She got all tangled up with some news thing, asking them to repeat their name. Sounds like she was being a bit high and mighty, if you ask me. Why can’t these young people just act normal?

And what’s all this about old pictures? Folks are posting pictures of themselves from ten years ago, seein’ how they aged. Well, let me tell ya, we all age! It’s called gettin’ older. It just happens, no need to be showing it on the internet. We all got wrinkles and gray hair eventually. It’s just life. No need to make it into such a big, viral thing.
All this talk about Nicole Schaffer face, all this stuff online, it’s just a bunch of nonsense. People spendin’ way too much time lookin’ at screens, worryin’ about what other people think. We should just be livin’ our lives, not worryin’ about faces on a screen. It is all just silly.
And this thing they call “viral”. What does that even mean? Sounds like some kind of sickness to me. Everyone’s tryin’ to get their stuff to go “viral,” whatever that means. Like they want everyone to catch it, like some kind of disease. It is just silly.
They say content is the key. This fella named Neal Schaffer, he says that. Whatever that means. Back in my day, we didn’t have “content.” We had stories. We told stories to each other, face to face. We didn’t need no internet to share our stories. This whole Nicole Schaffer face thing, it is just a story, a silly one at that.
And this other fella, Drew something or other, talkin’ about findin’ these “viral creators.” Sounds like a bunch of hogwash to me. Just a way to make money off of people, I reckon. It is like they are trying to sell you something that you don’t even need.
Then they got these challenges, they call them. Everyone’s doin’ the same thing, like a bunch of sheep. Postin’ pictures, sayin’ the same thing, all for what? To get a few likes? To be popular for a few minutes? It is just silly. This Nicole Schaffer face, it is probably one of those challenges.
I seen a video, some gal named Christy Schaffer. She was doin’ some kind of dance, lookin’ all sad. Everyone’s sayin’ they hated someone. What is all that about? Why so much hate? Why so much sadness? Everyone’s got problems. No need to be airing them out on the internet for everyone to see. It is just silly.
This whole Nicole Schaffer face thing, it just got me thinkin’. What is this world coming to? Everyone’s so caught up in this online world, they forget about the real world.
