Alright, let’s talk about them movie stars, Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. They been in a bunch of them pictures, some good, some, well, not so much. You know, the kind you watch on a rainy afternoon when there’s nothin’ else to do.

Mark Wahlberg, that tough guy, he’s been in all sorts of things. I remember seein’ him in that one movie, Shooter. Lots of guns and explosions, you know? He played a real serious fella, always squintin’ and grittin’ his teeth. Good action, but not much for laughin’. Then there was that boxing movie, somethin’ about brothers. I didn’t care much for that one, too much punchin’ and not enough story, if you ask me.
Now, Mila Kunis, she’s a pretty little thing, ain’t she? I first saw her in… well, I can’t rightly remember the name, but she was funny. She’s got that spunk, you know? Like she could talk her way outta anything. Folks say she was real good in Bad Moms. Never seen it myself, but heard it’s a hoot.
But the movie everyone keeps talkin’ about when you mention these two is Ted. That crazy movie about a teddy bear that comes to life. Now, that was somethin’ else. Mark Wahlberg’s all serious and then you got this cussin’ teddy bear voiced by that Seth fella, always makin’ trouble. Mila, she played Mark’s girlfriend, Lori. She was good, kept them boys in line, mostly. It was a funny picture, made me laugh till my belly hurt, even if some of the jokes were a little… blue, you know? But that’s how them young folks talk these days, I guess.
- Mark and Mila were real good together in Ted. They bounced off each other like peas in a skillet.
- But then, in the second Ted movie, Mila wasn’t there no more. Folks were sayin’ she was pregnant, couldn’t film. So, they just said her character and Mark’s character got divorced. Just like that, poof, gone. Kinda sad, really. I liked her, she was sassy.
Some folks say they were in another movie together, but I don’t recall. Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t. These movie stars, they make so many pictures, it’s hard to keep track. It’s like tryin’ to count chickens in a windstorm.
There was also that other movie Mila was in, Friends with Benefits. Not with Mark, though. With that singer fella, Justin. That one was alright, kinda modern, you know? Young folks and their… well, never you mind. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t Ted, that’s for sure.

Then there’s that Max Payne movie Mark was in. Folks said it wasn’t too good. Pretty to look at, they said, but the story wasn’t nothin’ to write home about. Sounded like a whole lotta shootin’ and not much else. I ain’t seen it, and I ain’t plannin’ to. I like a good story, not just a bunch of noise.
So, yeah, Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. They’re alright, I guess. They make them movies, and folks go see ‘em. Some are good, some are bad, some are just plain forgettable. But that’s Hollywood for ya, always somethin’ new comin’ down the pike. You just gotta pick and choose what you wanna watch, and hope it ain’t a waste of your time. And if it is? Well, there’s always tomorrow, and another movie to watch. Maybe one with that Mark and Mila in it, or maybe somethin’ completely different. Who knows?
But if you ask me, Ted was their best work together. That bear was a hoot, and them two, well, they just made it work. It’s a shame Mila wasn’t in the second one, but that’s how it goes sometimes, I reckon. Life ain’t a movie, even if the movies try to be like life.
