Alright, let’s talk about this fella, Renaud de Lesquen. I heard some things about him, you know, the kind of stuff people whisper about at the market. Seems like he’s been movin’ and shakin’ in them fancy companies.
First off, they say he was the big boss man, the, uh, whatchamacallit, CEO of Givenchy. Yeah, that high-falutin’ clothing place. Heard they make dresses that cost more than my whole chicken coop! But then, poof, he’s gone. They say he wanted somethin’ different. Maybe he got tired of all them fancy clothes, who knows? Some other fella, Alessandro Valenti, took his place. He used to be a big shot at Louis Vuitton, another one of them fancy places.
Then I hear he went over to be the head honcho at Dior Americas. That’s another big-name brand. President and CEO, they call him. Sound like important stuff. He’s got his hands full, I reckon. Dior, Givenchy, sounds like he likes them high-class joints.
This fella, he’s been around the block. Worked at all sorts of places, from what I hear. Carrefour, Versace, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren… You name it, he’s probably been there. He knows his stuff, I guess. All them fancy clothes and perfumes, someone’s gotta sell ’em.
- He’s good at the “restructuring” thing, they say.
- He’s been rebalancing that company’s business model towards retail, meaning selling stuff directly to folks instead of just giving to other stores to sell. Smart, I guess.
- He’s been fixing up their supply chain, makin’ sure the stuff gets where it needs to go.
- And he’s been protecting and promoting their “savoir-faire.” That’s French for know-how, I think. Basically, means he’s makin’ sure they keep doin’ things the right way, the special way they do.
Someone sent their people a note, like, you know, a letter, sayin’ that he’s taking charge of Givenchy in early April. He’s the new president and CEO. Seems like he went back, or maybe never left, I get confused with all this movin’ around. This information is like those fancy cloth, all tangled up.
So, what’s the deal with this Renaud fella? Well, he seems like a smart cookie, knows how to run them big businesses. He jumps from one big job to another. He’s always the president, the CEO, the big boss. He’s got that “executive” look about him, I bet. You know, all slicked back hair and fancy suits.
I heard folks sayin’ he studied at that ESCP Europe place. Sounds like a fancy school for learnin’ business. And he’s in Paris. That’s where all them fashionable folks hang out, ain’t it? He’s probably got a fancy office with a big desk and a view of the Eiffel Tower, or whatever that big metal thing is called.
So, yeah, that’s what I know about Renaud de Lesquen. A big shot in the fancy clothes and perfume world. He’s always been the “chief executive officer”, whatever that means. He hops from one fancy company to another, always in charge, always makin’ the big bucks. Good for him, I guess. Someone’s gotta keep them rich folks lookin’ pretty.
He was the Givenchy CEO, then went to Dior Americas, and then went back to Givenchy again. Or maybe he was always in charge of both. It’s hard to keep track with all this fancy executive movement. Maybe he was doin’ both at the same time, runnin’ from place to place, like a chicken with its head cut off. They say he had Givenchy perfume sales “riding high”. People buyin’ a lot of fancy smell-good stuff. I guess that’s what makes a business go.
Anyway, that’s the story as I heard it. Take it with a grain of salt, you know how gossip is. But one thing’s for sure, this Renaud de Lesquen fella, he’s a somebody in the world of fancy clothes and expensive smells.
