So, the other day I was scrolling through Amazon, just browsing, you know, and I came across this Maison Alhambra Victorioso Myth cologne. I thought, “Why not?” and placed an order. This was not my first rodeo with Maison Alhambra, since I tried their Victorioso Legend before, and boy, was I impressed!
When the package arrived, I eagerly ripped it open. First thing I did was give it a good spritz on my wrist. Initially, it hit me with this strong burst of grapefruit, almost too intense. I also sensed some pink pepper and lemon there, making the opening quite sharp. I wasn’t immediately sold, to be honest.
I decided to wear it for a day out with friends. It’s interesting, as time passed, the scent started to change. The intense grapefruit mellowed out, and I began to notice the aromatic herbs mixing in. The sea notes started to surface, giving it a refreshing twist. Some of my friends even asked me what I was wearing, saying it smelled pretty darn good.

My Scent Journey Throughout the Day:
The longevity is surprisingly good. I could still smell it on my arm after about 5 hours. I thought the dry down was way better than the opening. I mean, the base notes of vanilla, tonka beans, and amber really lingered nicely. If the opening was as good as the dry down, this would have been a total winner for me.
I also tested Musk Vanille. It was a sweet fragrance. There was powdery musk and sweet, creamy vanilla. There was hints of gooey caramel and spiced cardamom. I felt it might be too sweet for me, maybe more suitable for other spaces.
Overall, I’d give it a solid 7 out of 10. It’s a decent choice if you’re into something that evolves throughout the day. I’m still on the fence about whether I’d make it my go-to, but it’s definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a new scent to add to your collection.
