This Iris van Herpen, what a girl! She made clothes, they say. Not your regular rags, oh no! Fancy stuff, like them city folks wear. They call it “fashion.” Sounds like a made-up word to me.
They got this big show, this Iris van Herpen exhibit, all about her and her fancy things. It’s in Paris, over in France. That’s far, real far. Heard it’s a big city, bigger than our town square, that’s for sure. They call it the “Muse des Arts Dcoratifs.” Another made-up word, I reckon.
They say this show, it ain’t just about the clothes. It’s got all sorts of other things. Like how she makes ’em. They talk about “new technologies.” What’s that? Some new-fangled sewing machine? Don’t know, don’t care much, but she use the new stuff, make the clothes more good, more better, best in the world.
