This here train from Paris to Tuscany, it’s a real doozy. I heard tell from folks, you wanna go see them fancy places, them places way over in Italy, you gotta get on that train. Now, me, I ain’t never been, but they say it’s somethin’ else.
First off, you gotta get yourself to Paris. Big city, that one. Lots of folks, lots of noise. But that’s where the train leaves from. They say it is a cheap train ticket. And it is easy to get. But I don’t know. I never buy a train ticket before.
Then, you get on this train from Paris. Big fancy thing, they say. Not like the old rattletraps we used to have. This one’s all shiny and new. And fast! They say it goes real fast, like a, like a, what’s that thing? A bullet! Yeah, like a bullet train! Then it slows down, goes through them mountains. Them Alps, they call ’em. Big, tall mountains, full of snow. I seen pictures. Looks cold.
- First you get to Paris.
- Then you find the train.
- Then you get on the train, and it goes zoom!
- Then you see the big mountains.
- Then you’re in Italy!
Now, this here train to Tuscany, it don’t just go anywhere. It goes to special places. Fancy places. I heard of a place, some kinda castle, Castello something. Yeah, Castello di Casole. Sounds like a king lives there. This train, it takes you right there. From Paris to that castle. Can you believe it?
They got other places too. This train, it goes all over. They say it goes to Nice. That’s a place by the water. Sunny, they say. Takes about, oh, I don’t know, four, five hours. Goes right through France. You see all them little towns and such. Sounds nice.
And this other one, they call it a night train. Thello, or somethin’. You get on it at night, sleep on the train, and wake up in a whole different place! They say it goes to Rome, that big city with the Pope. And Venice. That’s the one with all the water, right? Where they ride them boats instead of cars. Imagine that! This train from Paris to Tuscany. It is amazing!
Now, this trip to Rome, they say it takes a while. Twelve hours, maybe more. And you can’t just go straight. Nope, gotta switch trains. At least two trains, they say. First one might take you to, uh, Milan. That’s another big city in Italy. Lots of, uh, fashion, I hear. Fancy clothes and such. Then you take another train. Finally, you will get train to Tuscany.
This whole train thing, it’s a lot to take in. So many places, so many trains. But if you wanna see them fancy places, that Tuscany, that Rome, that Venice, that Nice, sounds like the train’s the way to go. They even say it can save money. You know, you don’t need to take a car. No gas, no parking fees. I don’t know about that, but maybe it is true.
If you go, you gotta let me know how it is. I’d like to hear all about it. Maybe they’ll send me a postcard. A picture of that castle, maybe. Or that Venice place, with all the water. Or even them mountains, them Alps. I’d like that.
This train from Paris to Tuscany, it’s somethin’ else. You know? It’s like a dream. It is faster than car, I think. You just sit there, watch the world go by. And then, poof! You’re in Italy. Just like that. And they say it is easy to book. If you want to get some information, you can search it on the internet. Maybe I can try one day. But I am getting old. Maybe just stay home, ha?
So, if you ever think about goin’ to Italy, remember that train. That train from Paris. It might be the way to get there. I don’t know. Maybe one day, if the good Lord’s willin’, and the creek don’t rise, I’ll see it for myself. But until then, I’ll just keep dreamin’ about it. That shiny train, goin’ through them mountains, all the way to Tuscany. Sounds like a real adventure, don’t it?
