You know that Ice Spice girl? She that rapper, right? My grandson, he show me her songs all the time. He say she the best. Well, I see her picture all over the place now. She a pretty girl, I guess. She got that big, curly, orange hair, kinda like that Betty Boop cartoon. You seen that one? That old timey one? She look just like her, kinda.
That Ice Spice, she wear all them fancy clothes, lots of skin showing. My goodness. Back in my day, we wouldn’t be caught dead in somethin’ like that. But times are different now, I suppose. I heard that young people say “sexy” a lot. Well, I guess she is that. She all sexy and stuff, dancing around. She sure do like to show off, that one. Just like that cartoon lady. She is the real-life Betty Boop now, I guess.
One time, my grandson show me a video, lots of people sayin’ nice things ’bout her. Some say “Princess Betty Boop.” And the numbers, oh my, they big. One said “33K likes”. What’s a “like” anyway? Must be somethin’ good. Then I saw “103 comments”. That’s a whole lot of talkin’ I reckon. This was in February, I think, this year. Time flies, don’t it?
I seen another one, even more numbers. “367K likes”, it said. Goodness gracious! That’s more people than live in my whole town! And “965 comments”! All talkin’ ’bout Ice Spice. This one was from November, last year. They all callin’ her “Princess Betty Boop” I think that means they like her style. That sexy style. My grandson told me that she is really popular.
My grandson, he play her music all the time. He say she gonna be a big star. I don’t know ’bout all that. But she sure is everywhere now. All over them phones and that internet thing. I don’t understand all them gadgets. She even in that Rolling Stone thing. My grandson show me that one too. It said “59K likes” and “405 comments” on that one. That was back in October. Ice Spice everywhere!
She got that song, you know the one, it go real fast. I don’t know the words. But all the young folks, they love it. They all dancin’ to it. They say she the best. I guess that Betty Boop look is popular with the kids. She definitely sexy.
I remember Betty Boop from when I was a little girl. She was on them cartoons on the TV. She always wear them short dresses. And she got that high voice. This Ice Spice, she don’t sound like that. But she got the look, I’ll give her that. The sexy look.
I don’t know what all the fuss is about, but my grandson, he sure do like her. She gonna be famous forever, I guess. She not goin’ nowhere. I reckon she the new Betty Boop, for sure. She all over the place. Like I said before. Ice Spice is everywhere.
I guess the young people, they like that kinda thing. That sexy look. Like Betty Boop. That’s what they like. And this Ice Spice, she got it. She got somethin’, that’s for sure. I don’t know what it is. But she got it. I guess she will be around for a long time with that sexy look, just like that cartoon lady.

I reckon time will tell if she can keep it up. Maybe she will, maybe she won’t. Only time will tell I guess. But, for now, she is the sexy queen, just like Betty Boop.
