You know, these young folks, they all crazy ’bout them 1992 Jordans. Back in my day, we just wore whatever shoes we had. But these Jordans, they somethin’ else, I guess. Expensive, too! My grandson, he saved up all his money for a pair. Said he needed them real 1992 ones.
These 1992 Jordans, they all the rage. But lots of fake ones out there, too. Gotta be careful, you know. Don’t wanna get ripped off. Spend all that money for nothin’.
My grandson, he showed me how to tell if they real. First thing, he said, look at the box. Yeah, the box! Said the real Jordans come in a good, strong box. Not some flimsy thing. He said a lot of fake Jordans have bad boxes in 1992.
- Gotta check that box, he said. Make sure it’s sturdy.
- Look at the pictures on the box, make sure they clear.
- Real Jordan box got a certain feel to it, he said. Hard to explain.
Then, he said, look at the shoes themselves. The real 1992 Jordans, they made good. Real good. Not like those cheap shoes that fall apart after a week.
He said look at how they sewed together. The stitching, he called it. Said the real ones, the stitching is all neat and tidy. Not all messy like the fake ones, that is no good 1992 Jordans. The fake 1992 Jordans stitching looks bad.
And the glue! He said look at the glue. The fake ones, they got glue all over the place. Messy, messy, messy. Real Jordans, they neat. No messy glue. He said that is important for 1992 Jordans.
He said feel the shoes, too. The real ones, they made of good stuff. Leather, he said. Good leather. Not that fake plastic stuff. The fake Jordans in 1992 all use cheap leathers.
- Real leather feels a certain way. Soft, but strong.
- Fake stuff feels, well, fake. Plastic-y.
- Gotta use your hands, feel the shoes. Know the difference.
And the tag! That little tag on the tongue, he say it’s important. The tag inside of the 1992 Jordans is different. He said the real 1992 Jordans got a special tag. With a little “R” on it. He say that mean “registered.” Means it’s the real deal. I don’t understand, but that is what he told me.
If the tag don’t have that little “R,” it ain’t real Jordans. That is the key point of 1992 Jordans. He said many fake ones don’t got that little “R”.
He also told me, buy from the right place. Don’t just buy from anybody. Gotta buy from a store that knows about these things. A store that sells real shoes for 1992 Jordans. A store you can trust.
- Don’t buy from some guy on the street. He might sell you fake ones.
- Go to a real store. One that knows about Jordans.
- Ask questions. Make sure they know what they talkin’ ’bout.
He said some people, they try to sell fake 1992 Jordans online. Said you gotta be extra careful online. They use the fake pictures of real Jordans in 1992. You can’t feel the shoes. Can’t see the box. Hard to know if they real. So many fake 1992 Jordans out there.
He said look at the pictures real good. Look for that messy stitching, that messy glue. That is how to tell if it is fake 1992 Jordans. Look for that little “R” on the tag. If you see these things, probably fake, he said.
He said some fake ones, they look real good in the pictures. But when you get them, they fall apart. Cheap, cheap, cheap. That is no good. Waste of money.
He said there’s this one kind of Jordans, the “Dark Mocha” ones. He said those are the ones everybody wants. And the ones everybody fakes. A lot of fake “Dark Mocha” 1992 Jordans out there, he said.
He said those “Dark Mocha” ones, they cost a lot of money. More than 500 dollars! Can you believe that? For a pair of shoes! But he said people pay it. They want those shoes that bad, especially for 1992 Jordans.
So, if you gonna buy these 1992 Jordans, you gotta be careful. Gotta know what to look for. Gotta buy from the right place. Don’t get ripped off. It’s a lot of money. These young folks and their shoes. But I guess if it makes them happy, it is a good thing.
Just remember what my grandson said. Check that box. Look at that stitching. Look at that glue. Feel that leather. Check that tag for the little “R”. And buy from a store you trust. That’s how you know you gettin’ real 1992 Jordans, and not some cheap fake ones. The fake ones are not good. Remember to check the tag.
