That Fear of God, what is it? I heard people talking about it. Sounds like some god stuff, right? Well, I don’t know much about gods, but I know that boy, Kanye West, he wears that. He’s the one always singing. That boy, he’s always in that Fear of God.
I saw it on the TV. That Kanye, he likes that Fear of God. He got that from Jerry, Jerry Lorenzo. That’s the big man behind Fear of God. Kanye and Jerry, they’re like two peas in a pod. Kanye wears it, everybody wants it. That’s how it is.
This Fear of God, it’s not cheap. It’s for them rich folks. They got all kinds of clothes. That Jerry, he makes them. I heard he started in 2013 in Los Angeles. That’s way out there in California. And they say his clothes is for luxury. Well, that’s all them fancy people.
And that Kanye, he’s a big shot. He helped that Jerry. He wore them clothes, and then everybody wanted them. It’s like a magic trick. You see it on Kanye, you want it too.

They say it’s “tough” to work with Kanye. I saw that on the news. Well, who ain’t tough to work with? But that Kanye, he was there for Jerry in the beginning. He wore them clothes, showed them off. That’s good, I guess.
They got this thing called Fear of God Essentials. That’s like the little brother of Fear of God. I don’t know. It’s still that Fear of God, just a little different. They say it’s “minimalistic.” What’s that mean? Means it ain’t got all them fancy designs, I guess.
They even made shoes! With that Converse. You know, them Chuck 70s. They made them all different colors. Two colors on one shoe. Looks kinda funny to me, but them young folks like it.
I saw a picture of Kanye, all in one color. Head to toe, they say. Like he’s a big blueberry or something. They say it’s not about having lots of clothes, just the right ones. Well, if you got money like Kanye, you can do that.
They say this Fear of God is big. It’s everywhere. This Jerry, he made something big. They call him an “icon.” That’s a big word. Just for making clothes.
And Kanye, he’s always in the news. Him and that Nike. They make shoes together. I seen them. They look like them space shoes. All them young kids want them.
You can wear this Fear of God Essentials anywhere. To the store, to the park, wherever. That’s what they say. It’s for everything. Sounds strange, all these clothes being so important. But folks like them, I guess. It’s fashion, that’s what they say.
That Kanye, he got that song. “Jesus Walks.” I heard that Jerry, that Fear of God man, he likes that song. Said it helped him. I don’t know, maybe it’s a good song. Never really listened to it that much. But Kanye, he’s a big deal. And this Fear of God, it’s a big deal too.
They ask that Jerry, why is it called Fear of God? He says it’s because… well, I don’t know why. I guess it’s just a name. Sounds important, though. Like something you should pay attention to. I just think that Kanye likes it.
This Jerry, he’s doing good. Making all these clothes, making all this money. He’s got a good thing going. And Kanye, he’s still wearing them. So, I guess it’s all working out.
I don’t know much about this Fear of God. It’s just clothes. But they are some famous clothes. And that Kanye West, he sure does like them. If you like Kanye, then maybe you like Fear of God too. If you have a lot of money, you can buy Fear of God. If you don’t, well, it doesn’t matter. They’re just clothes. But that Jerry, he did make some good clothes that Kanye likes.
