Okay, so I wanted to check out the Citizen flagship store in NYC, and let me tell you, it was an experience. I’ve been eyeing a new watch for a while, and Citizen has always been on my radar – good quality, decent price, you know?

First, I looked up the address online. Pretty easy to find, right in Times Square. Getting there was the usual NYC hustle, dodging tourists and whatnot. I hopped on the subway, which saved me the headache of dealing with midtown traffic.
Finding the Store
Once I got out of the subway, it was a pretty short walk. Honestly, finding the store itself wasn’t hard at all. The big Citizen logo is easy to see.
Inside the Store
When I walked in, I was greeted by a clean, modern space. It was not a small one. It’s well-lit and didn’t feel cramped, even with other people browsing. They had a ton of watches on display, from their classic styles to the newer, fancier ones. I was interested in the ones for diving and outdoor activities.
- Lots of Choices: They seriously had everything. Eco-Drive, automatic, chronographs… you name it.
- Helpful Staff: I asked a staff and one of the sales associates came right over. I didn’t feel pressured at all, which was nice. He answered my questions about a couple of different models.
- Displays: They have the watches out where you can see all of it, they organized the watch collections by style. It’s very comfortable to see all the watches.
Trying Things On
The sales guy helped me try on a few different watches. I’m pretty picky about how a watch feels on my wrist, so this was important. He explained the features of each one, like the water resistance and the different materials. I got a better idea of what I wanted.
The Overall Vibe
I spent probably a good hour just looking around and trying things on. Overall, it was a really positive experience. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re in the market for a Citizen watch and want to see a wide selection in person. I didn’t end up buying anything that day, but I have a much better idea of what I want now. My next plan is to go back with my final options and made my final decision!
