Okay, so I’ve been seeing this Dolce & Gabbana Queen perfume all over my social media feeds lately. You know, the one with the crown on the bottle? Yeah, that’s the one. It looked so darn fancy, I just had to try it out for myself. I mean, who doesn’t want to feel like a queen, right?

First off, I started by doing some digging online. I wanted to see what other people were saying about it and if it was even worth the hype. Turns out, it’s a pretty new fragrance, launched in 2024. Apparently, it’s supposed to be the follow-up to their K fragrance for men, which I guess makes sense since this one is called Queen.
Then I went to check out some reviews. There are a lot of perfume experts, or whatever they call them, talking about this stuff. Some say it’s one of the best Dolce & Gabbana perfumes out there. They compared it to some of their other popular scents, like Light Blue. It got me even more curious, to be honest.
So, I finally caved and bought a bottle. I mean, I just had to experience this “regal” scent for myself. When I first sprayed it on, I was like, “Whoa, this is different.” It wasn’t what I expected, but in a good way. It’s kind of hard to describe, but it definitely made me feel more, I don’t know, elegant? Sophisticated?
I started experimenting with it, trying it out on different occasions. I wore it to work, on a date, even just around the house. I wanted to see how it made me feel in different situations and if anyone else noticed it.
My findings?
- First Impressions: Definitely a strong scent, but not overpowering. It’s noticeable, that’s for sure.
- How it made me feel: More confident, more put-together. Like I could take on the world, or at least my to-do list.
- What others said: Got a few compliments, mostly from people I don’t know very well. My partner said it smelled “nice,” but he’s not really a perfume guy.
- Lasting Power: Pretty good. I could still smell it on myself at the end of the day.
Then I got this crazy idea to try mixing it with other perfumes. I read somewhere that you can layer scents to create your own unique fragrance. I figured, why not? I started with a warm, vanilla-ish perfume as a base and then added a spritz of Queen on top. It was actually pretty cool! It gave it a whole new vibe.

Overall, I’d say trying out Dolce & Gabbana Queen was a fun little adventure. It’s not something I’d wear every day, but it’s definitely a nice addition to my perfume collection. And hey, who knows, maybe I’ll keep experimenting with it and find even more ways to wear it. It’s all about finding what works for you, right?
I also noticed that Prada is now top on Lyst Index and Dolce & Gabbana is not in top 20 any more. It seems like people’s taste changes really fast.
Anyway, that’s my little story about trying out the Dolce & Gabbana Queen perfume. Hope you enjoyed it! If you’ve tried it too, let me know what you think! I’m always up for a good perfume chat.
