Okay, so I finally hit up that Dior Cafe in Seoul everyone’s been talking about. You know, the one by Pierre Herme? Yeah, that one. I had to check it out, and let me tell you, it was an experience.

Getting There
First off, finding the place was an adventure in itself. It’s tucked away in Apgujeong, which, if you don’t know, is like the Beverly Hills of Seoul. It’s on the 5th floor of this massive Dior flagship store. I mean, the store itself is a sight to behold, all sleek and modern.
Stepping Inside
- First Impressions: When I walked into the cafe, I was immediately struck by how, well, Dior it was. Everything from the chairs to the cutlery just screamed luxury.
- The Vibe: It’s pretty chill, actually. Not what I expected from such a high-end place. There were people chatting, taking photos, and just enjoying the atmosphere.
The Menu
Now, onto the important stuff – the food. Pierre Herme, if you’re not familiar, is like a god in the pastry world. So, naturally, I had high expectations. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. I ordered a few of their signature pastries, and each one was like a little piece of art. Not just pretty to look at, but the taste? Out of this world.
- Pastry 1: I tried this chocolate thing that was so rich and decadent, I felt like I was eating a cloud of pure cocoa.
- Pastry 2: Then there was this raspberry macaron that just melted in my mouth. The balance of sweet and tart was perfect.
Coffee Talk
And the coffee? Don’t even get me started. It was some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Rich, aromatic, and just the right amount of bitter. It complemented the pastries perfectly.
The Experience
I spent a good couple of hours there, just soaking it all in. I people-watched, took some photos (for the ‘gram, obviously), and just enjoyed the moment. It’s not every day you get to treat yourself to something like this, right?
Final Thoughts
So, was it worth it? Absolutely. It’s not just a cafe; it’s an experience. It’s a little slice of luxury in the middle of Seoul. If you’re ever in town and you’ve got a bit of cash to splash, I’d say go for it. It’s definitely one of those things you have to do at least once.

And hey, if you’re into shopping, the Dior store downstairs is pretty awesome too. I may or may not have picked up a little something for myself. But that’s a story for another time.
That’s my take on the Dior Cafe in Seoul. Hope you guys enjoyed the little story time. Let me know if you’ve been there and what you thought!
