Hey everyone, I’m back with another project to share, and let me tell you, this one was a doozy! So, I’ve been eyeing this Christian Dior button-up for a while now. It’s a classic piece, you know, simple but can dress up or down, super versatile.
First off, I started doing some digging around. I saw a lot of prices, some as low as 169 bucks, and some are up to those crazy numbers like 16,500! The price is mainly determined by the material. I’m not kidding. It’s wild how much these things can go for. It seems that these luxury brands cost a lot to make, from the materials to just making a few of them. So, I began to understand why these shirts cost so much. I was thinking, “Okay, maybe it’s worth it?”
Then came the sizing. Usually, I’m pretty standard, but some folks online were saying that some Dior shirts have a tighter fit. So, I was like, do I need to size up? I didn’t want to end up with a shirt that’s too tight or too loose. This added a bit of doubt, to be honest.
I looked at some actual shirts, you know, like a taupe and white striped one, long sleeves. Classic stuff. There was also a blue one with a pocket that I saw on some online store, and it was used! But it looked pretty good in the pictures. I mean, it’s a Dior, so it’s probably made well, right?
I also checked out the official Dior website and saw that even their T-shirts are pretty pricey, starting at like 890 bucks. So a button-up? Yeah, it’s gonna be up there.
The Decision
After all that back and forth, I finally decided to go for it. I found one that I really liked, not too flashy, just a solid color, 100% cotton. It was a bit of a splurge, but I figured, why not treat myself? It wasn’t cheap, though, let me tell you. But, I was excited!
The Moment of Truth
When it finally arrived, I tried it on right away. It fit perfectly! Not too tight, not too loose, just right. The material felt amazing, super soft and high-quality. I totally get the hype now. It’s definitely a step up from my usual shirts.
So, that’s my Dior button-up adventure. It was a bit of a process, with all the researching and deciding, but in the end, I’m really happy with my purchase. It’s a great addition to my wardrobe, and I can see myself wearing it a lot. What do you all think? Was it worth the splurge?
