Today, I got this crazy idea to hunt down a perfume called “Evening in Paris”. You know, the one that’s been around forever and seems like a classic? I’d heard about it, but I’d never actually gotten my hands on a bottle.

So, I started my search online, ’cause where else do you look for stuff these days? I hit up the usual spots, like and a few other big online stores. I typed in “Evening in Paris perfume” and waited to see what popped up.
A bunch of listings appeared, but some of them seemed kinda sketchy. Then I looked at this other site and found even more options. The prices were all over the place, from around twenty bucks to over a hundred for what looked like the same thing. It was kinda confusing, honestly.
Here’s what I noticed:
- Some sellers had “Evening in Paris” by Bourjois, and others just said “Evening in Paris.” I wasn’t sure if they were the same thing or not.
- There were different types, too, like cologne and perfume. And the sizes were different, which probably explained some of the price differences.
- I saw another perfume mentioned, “Femme Noir” by Jean Marc Paris. It had strawberries and pink rose listed in the notes, which sounded nice, but it wasn’t what I was looking for.
After looking around for a while, I decided to go for one of the cheaper options that still seemed legit. It was about 20 dollars for a bottle of “Evening in Paris” by Bourjois. I figured, why not? It was worth a shot for that price.
I placed my order, and now I’m just waiting for it to arrive. I’m kinda excited to see what this “Evening in Paris” perfume is all about. Is it gonna be amazing? Is it gonna be a total letdown? I guess I’ll find out soon enough!

Update:
The perfume arrived! It was packaged nicely. I sprayed a bit on my wrist, and it smelled, well, pretty old-fashioned. Not bad, just not really my style. I think my grandma would love it, though! So, I gave the bottle to her, and she was thrilled. She said it reminded her of when she was younger. So, even though it wasn’t for me, it ended up being a nice little gift for my grandma.
