Okay, here’s my attempt at a blog post about “blue purple black jordans,” following your instructions and example:

Blue Purple Black Jordans: Are These Hot or Hype? Find out!

So, I’ve been on this kick lately trying to customize my sneakers. I saw some cool designs online, and thought, “Hey, I can do that!” My latest project was a pair of Jordans that I wanted to give a blue, purple, and black makeover. Let me tell you, it was a journey!

Getting Started

First, I grabbed an old pair of white Jordans. I figured white was the best base to start with. Make sure to clean them, you want a good surface for the paint to stick to.

Next, I went to the craft store. I was not really sure. Just bought some acrylic paints – a deep blue, a vibrant purple, and, of course, black.I Also picked up some different sized brushes, some masking tape (a lifesaver!), and a sealant to protect the paint job later.

The Messy Part

I started by taping off the areas I wanted to keep white. This took forever! I am not good at it. Getting those lines crisp and clean is no joke. Then, I mixed the blue and purple paints to get the exact shades I wanted. I did not want them too bright. I ended up with a really cool, almost galaxy-like effect on some parts by blending the blue and purple together.

I carefully painted the untaped sections. It took a couple of coats to get the colors looking solid and even. I had to be patient (not my strong suit) and let each coat dry completely before adding the next. The black paint I used mostly for the soles and some detailing, to give the shoes some contrast.

Finishing Touches

After all the painting was done, and I was pretty sure I had not messed up, I removed the tape. It is a very statifying moment. Then used some fine brushes get the paint job get even.

  • wait it to dry
  • spray with the sealant
  • wait for ages

Finally, I sprayed the whole thing with a sealant. This is super important to protect the paint from scratches and scuffs. I let that dry overnight, and boom! Custom Jordans!

It was a lot of work, and definitely a learning experience, but I’m pretty stoked with how they turned out. It’s cool to wear something that I made myself. Thinking about doing some red and gold ones next…we’ll see!
