Biggie with the crown: a symbol of hip-hop royalty (Heres how to get the look)

You know that Biggie, right? Biggie with the crown, yeah, that’s the one. Heard somethin’ ’bout that crown the other day. Sold for a whole lotta money, they say. Big money for somethin’ made of, you know, not real gold. Plastic, like them cheap toys my grandkids play with.

This Biggie, he was a big shot, I reckon. One of them rapper fellas. They say he was the king of New York, whatever that means. New York’s a big place, lots of folks there. How can one fella be king of all that? Don’t make much sense to me. But hey, folks like his music, I guess.

They took a picture of him, you see. Biggie with the crown on his head. Just a few days before he, you know, passed on. Sad story, that. Gone too soon, they always say.

Now, this picture, it’s a big deal, I hear. They call it “iconic.” Means it’s real famous, I reckon. Like that picture of that lady with the smile, you know the one. This Biggie crown picture, it’s like that, but for the music folks, I suppose.

And this crown, it weren’t even a real crown. Just plastic, like I said. With some fake jewels glued on it. Six bucks, they say it cost. Six bucks! Can you believe it? And now it’s worth more than my whole house! Life’s a funny thing, ain’t it?

They had this big sale, see. Where they sell all sorts of fancy stuff. They call it an “auction.” Rich folks go there and bid on things. Like on them TV shows. This time, they was sellin’ stuff from them rappers. Jackets and whatnot. And this plastic crown that Biggie wore.

Imagine that, a plastic crown. Sold for almost six hundred thousand dollars. That’s a lot of zeroes, let me tell you. Back in my day, you could buy a whole farm for that kinda money.

Some folks say this Biggie, he was real important to the music. Changed things, they say. Inspired a whole bunch of other young fellas to rap. Guess he was good at it. They called him Biggie Smalls, too, I heard.

He was from Brooklyn, that’s in New York. Said what he thought, didn’t hold back, they say. Folks liked that, I reckon. Made him real, you know? Not like them fancy folks on TV, all polished and whatnot.

This fella who took the picture, he had an idea, see. Wanted to show Biggie like a king, but not all fancy like. Just plain, you know? Different from how they usually showed them rappers back then. All flashy and with lots of bling, as they say.

So he brought two crowns to the picture takin’. Two different sizes. Just in case, I reckon. Ended up usin’ the plastic crown, the cheap one. And now look at it. Worth a fortune. Who woulda thought?

It’s a strange world we live in, ain’t it? A plastic crown worth more than gold. A rapper fella from Brooklyn, a king. Just goes to show, you never know what life’s gonna throw at you. You just never know.

This whole thing makes my head spin. Six hundred thousand for a Biggie crown. Six hundred thousand! I best be going now, that’s enough excitement for one day for this old lady. You take care now, ya hear?

I guess people liked this Biggie fella. That crown, it’s like a symbol, yeah? It means something. Means a lot to some folks. Like an old picture, it takes you back. Makes you think of a time gone by. I still don’t see how that crown could be worth that much though. It’s just plastic.

But the world’s a funny place. It sure is. A plastic crown can be worth a lot of money. You just never know what’s going to be worth something. Maybe I should start collecting plastic crowns. You never know, might make a fortune. Who knows, you just never know.
