So, I was in New York, you know, for that big fashion thing – New York Fashion Week. They call it Spring/Summer 2025, but it’s just a bunch of clothes, right? I went to see this one show, Who Decides War. Sounds intense, doesn’t it? It’s their tenth collection, called “X”.

I walked into this huge room, packed with people, all dressed up. I found my seat and waited. The lights dimmed, and the music started – it was some guy named Cash Cobain with the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. Cool, I guess.
Then the models started coming out. They were wearing all sorts of stuff. Lots of ripped-up jeans, you know, what they call “distressed denim.” That’s their thing, apparently. They had all these layers and textures, and the clothes were kind of draped all over the place. It looked pretty wild, but in a cool way.
The Designers
- Ev Bravado (that’s his nickname, his real name is Everard Best)
- Tela D’Amore
These two started this whole thing. Ev had a brand before, also called Ev Bravado, back in 2015. Then they changed the name to Who Decides War, and now they’re like a big deal in the fashion world.
I watched the whole show, and afterward, I tried to figure out what it all meant. They say there’s a philosophy behind it, something about stories under the surface. I don’t know, I just thought the clothes looked cool. I took some pictures, talked to a few people who seemed to know what they were talking about, and then I left.
So yeah, that was my day at New York Fashion Week, seeing the Who Decides War show. It was definitely an experience. I guess fashion’s not just about clothes, it’s about… something else. I’m still not sure what, but it was interesting to see it all up close.
