This neutral pink color, you see, it ain’t just pink. It’s more like, uh, a kinda pink that ain’t too loud. Not like that flashy hot pink them young girls wear. This one’s more calm, like a, like a cloudy morning sky, you know?
I remember my old neighbor, she had a shawl this color. Said it was neutral pink. Always looked nice on her, that shawl did. Matched everything she wore, that woman had an eye for colors, she did. It was a good color for her, made her look real put together, even on wash days.
