That Palm Angels Missoni, you see it on them young people, all colorful and flashy. It’s like, what’s that all about? Heard it’s some fancy Italian thing, costs a fortune. These young folks, always chasing the new stuff. What’s wrong with good old clothes, I say? My old clothes lasted me a lifetime, stitched ’em up myself when they got holes.

But this Palm Angels Missoni, it’s everywhere now. Even saw it on that moving picture box, the television. All them fancy folks wearing it, walking around like they own the place. It’s that Palm Angels X Missoni thing, like they teamed up or something. Two fancy names together, must be double the price, right? My old head can’t keep up with all these newfangled things.
They say you can get it online, on the computer thing. This whole internet thing, it’s a mystery to me. But my grandkids, they’re always on it. They showed me this Palm Angels Missoni clothing on some website called, uh, Lyst or something? Lots of pretty pictures, I’ll give ’em that. But the prices! Made my eyes water, I tell ya. Hundreds of dollars for one shirt! Back in my day, you could get a whole outfit for that much.
- Palm Angels X Missoni, it’s on sale sometimes.
- Lots of clothes, they say, new season, old season.
- You can get it shipped to your house, they say.
- Some folks even sell their old ones, can you believe it?
They got it for men, they got it for women. Palm Angels X Missoni men, Palm Angels X Missoni women. Like it makes a difference! Clothes are clothes, I say. But these young people, they care about these things. They say it’s fashion. I say it’s just silly. But, you know, they gotta spend their money on something. As long as they ain’t askin’ me for it. I worked hard my whole life, I’m not givin’ my money to no fancy Palm Angels Missoni.
Another place they got it is called, uh, YOOX. Sounds like a funny name for a store, don’t it? But they got all sorts of fancy things there. Spring, summer, fall, winter, they got clothes for every season. Like you need a different outfit for every time the wind blows! Waste of money, if you ask me. But, hey, what do I know? I’m just an old lady.
They say this Palm Angels, it’s from Italy. Italy! That’s far away. Imagine that, clothes coming all the way from Italy. Must cost a lot just to ship it over here. And they say the man who started it, he used to work for another fancy company, Mon-something. Moncler, that’s it. All these fancy names, it’s all a blur to me. They say this guy, Francesco Ragazzi, he’s a big shot, takes pictures and makes clothes. Good for him, I guess. Making a living. Everyone gotta work.

They say it’s inspired by Los Angeles. Los Angeles! Another fancy place I ain’t never been to. All these places, all these names, it’s too much for an old woman like me to keep track of. But I heard it’s this Palm Angels X Missoni. It’s a big deal to them youngins. They really like it.
I saw some folks selling their old Palm Angels Missoni stuff. Imagine that! Buying something so expensive and then just selling it off. They call it, uh, pre-owned. Like it’s a used car or something. There’s a website for that too, something called, uh, Vestiaire Collective. Sounds French to me. More fancy names. All these Palm Angels X Missoni items all over the place. People buying and selling, like it’s a game.
And then there’s this other place, StockX. Sounds like they’re selling cows or something. But it’s more clothes. They got this Palm Angels x Missoni Track Jacket, black, for men. From FW21, whatever that means. All these codes and numbers, it’s all so confusing. They call it streetwear. I call it overpriced. But them young people love it, so what can you do? To be fair, it’s still Palm Angels.
This Palm Angels, they say it’s luxury. Luxury! Like it’s made of gold or something. But it’s just clothes, ain’t it? Fancy clothes, sure, but still just clothes. I guess some folks like to spend their money on that kind of thing. Makes ’em feel good, I suppose. Me, I’m happy with my old clothes. They’re comfortable, they’re worn in, and they don’t cost a fortune. That’s all that matters to me. This whole Palm Angels Missoni thing, it’s just a lot of fuss over nothing, if you ask me. But, hey, to each their own, right?
