Okay, so the other day I was thinking about trying out some new perfumes, and the name “Escada” popped up in my head. I started digging around to see what this brand is all about.

First, I checked out some info about the brand’s history. Turns out, Escada has been around for a while, but it’s changed hands a couple of times. I read that it was sold to some private equity firm called Regent, L.P. back in 2019. And get this, by September 2020, they filed for insolvency! Crazy, right?
Anyway, I moved on to their actual fragrances. I noticed that one of their most popular ones is called “Escada Magnetism.” The description said it’s an oriental fragrance with sandalwood and patchouli. Sounds pretty intense and, you know, makes you feel all confident. I decided to give it a try.
I went ahead and ordered a bottle online since I couldn’t find it in any stores near me. When it arrived, I sprayed some on my wrist, and wow, it’s strong! It definitely has that woody, musky scent. I wore it out a few times, and I noticed it lasts for about 4-5 hours, which is pretty good. But I guess it also depends on your skin and the weather and stuff.
- It’s a strong, oriental fragrance.
- You can definitely smell the sandalwood and patchouli.
- It makes me feel kind of bold and confident.
- It lasts for a decent amount of time, like 4-5 hours.
Here’s my quick take on Escada Magnetism:
Overall, I think Escada Magnetism is a pretty interesting scent. I wouldn’t say it’s my everyday go-to, but it’s definitely something I’d wear when I want to feel a bit more, I don’t know, powerful? It’s worth checking out if you’re into that kind of vibe!
I am still exploring other Escada fragrances to see what else they have that might fit my style. I’ll keep you guys posted on my fragrance adventures!
