Alright, alright, let’s talk about this young fella, Play-boy Carty, or whatever his name is. Folks keep jabberin’ ‘bout his hair, like it’s the most important thing in the world. I seen more fuss over his hair than a hen with one chick!
So, this Play-boy fella, he’s a rapper, you know, the kind that makes noises and calls it music. Kids these days, I tell ya. Anyways, he’s always changin’ his hair, like a chameleon changes colors, but not as natural like. One day it’s this, the next day it’s that. Can’t make up his mind, I reckon.
First off, there’s that green buzz cut. Lord have mercy, looks like he fell headfirst into a bucket of paint! Bright green, like a frog on a hot summer day. I always told my boys, keep your hair short and neat. Easier to wash, easier to manage. But these young folks, they don’t listen. They gotta do things their own way.

Now, some folks say he’s a “fashion icon.” Fashion icon, my foot! He just wears whatever he wants and folks go crazy over it. I seen more sense in a scarecrow. But I guess that’s how it is these days. The more outlandish you are, the more popular you get. It’s a funny old world, ain’t it?
And they talk about his “style.” What style? It looks like he just throws on whatever he finds on the floor. Ripped jeans, big shirts, all kinds of colors. And that hair, always that hair. It’s like he’s tryin’ to make a statement, but I ain’t got a clue what it is. Maybe he’s just tryin’ to get attention. Well, he’s gettin’ it, that’s for sure. Even old biddies like me are talkin’ about him.
You know, back in my day, we didn’t have all this fuss about hair and clothes. You wore what you had, and you kept your hair neat and tidy. That was it. But now, it’s all about lookin’ different, standin’ out. I don’t get it, but I guess that’s just me bein’ old-fashioned. These young folks, they got their own way of doin’ things.
So, if you’re one of them young folks wantin’ to get a Play-boy Carty hairdo, well, good luck to ya. You’ll probably need a whole lot of hair gel, some fancy dye, and maybe a strong neck to carry all that weight. And you better be ready for folks starin’ at ya. ‘Cause that boy’s hair sure does attract attention, whether you like it or not.
But let me tell you somethin’ important. It don’t matter how your hair looks, it’s what’s inside that counts. You can have the fanciest hairdo in the world, but if you ain’t got a good heart, it don’t mean nothin’. That’s what my mama always told me, and it’s true.
