Well, let me tell you, this whole thing with that Tylie girl, Tylie Malibu or whatever her name is, it’s a real mess. Don’t rightly know all the details, you know, but I heard things, seen things on that TV thingy my grandbaby got. Real sad business, it is.
Seems like this young’un, she just up and vanished. Gone like a fart in the wind, as they say. Folks were lookin’ everywhere for her. Police and all. Reminds me of that time ol’ Bessy’s cow went missin’. Turned out she was just hidin’ in the woods birthin’ a calf, but this Tylie girl, well, it ain’t lookin’ so good for her.
- First off, nobody seen her for a long time.
- Then, they start findin’ things, you know, clues and such.
- And the talk, oh, the talk! Folks gossipin’ like hens in a henhouse.
I heard tell they found some stuff in a car, a van maybe. A hard drive, they call it. Like a fancy notebook, I guess. Full of pictures and things. Police are snoopin’ through it, tryin’ to figure out what happened. Reminds me of that time my nephew lost his phone, all his pictures gone. He was cryin’ like a baby. But this, this is way worse.
They sayin’ this girl, she had some troubles. Family troubles, maybe. Or maybe some fella was involved. You know how it is, young girls and fellas, sometimes things go sideways. Heard tell of another girl, Gabby somethin’-or-other, she went missin’ too. Found her way out in the woods somewheres, poor thing. Makes a body shiver, it does.
Some folks are sayin’ it’s like that other case, with them kids, Joshua and… I can’t even remember the names. Too many names, too much sadness. But them kids, they didn’t make it neither. Found ’em buried, poor little souls. This Tylie girl, I just hope and pray they find her, and she’s alright. But the longer it goes on, the more I worry. You know, a mother’s heart, it just knows.
They talkin’ about trials and such, people goin’ to court. Lawyers and judges, all that fancy talk. But what good is it if that girl ain’t found? What good is it if she’s gone for good? It’s like that time my neighbor’s dog got hit by a car. They caught the fella who did it, but the dog was still gone. Justice don’t bring back what’s lost, that’s for sure.
I see these stories on the TV, all these missin’ people. Young folks, old folks, it don’t matter. Just disappearin’ like smoke. Makes a body scared to even let their kids go outside. It ain’t right, I tell ya. It ain’t right at all. And that Tylie girl… seems like she just wanted some big changes, like I heard someone sayin’. Big changes alright, but not the kind anyone would wish for, I reckon.
I keep hopin’ for good news, but it’s hard. Every day that passes, the hope gets a little dimmer. Like a candle in the wind, just about to go out. All we can do is pray, I guess. Pray for that girl, pray for her family, and pray for this crazy world we live in. Lord have mercy, it’s a cruel world sometimes.
So, that’s what I know about this Tylie Malibu thing. Not much, I admit, just bits and pieces I picked up here and there. But it’s enough to make a body sad, enough to make a body worry. I just hope they figure it out, find her, and bring her home. That’s all anyone wants, ain’t it? Just to bring her home.
