Okay, so I saw this picture of Taylor Swift rocking a Louis Vuitton bag, and I was like, “I need that in my life.” So, I started my mission to find the exact one.
First, I scoured the internet, looking at tons of pictures of Taylor. I mean, she has so many bags, it’s crazy! I zoomed in on every photo I could find, trying to get a good look at the details. It was a brown,classic LV monogram, from speedy collection I guess.
Then, I hit up the Louis Vuitton website. I browsed through their online catalog, checking out every bag that looked remotely similar. I compared the pictures, looking at the shape, the handles, the hardware, everything!
After that, I went old-school and visited an actual Louis Vuitton.I spoke to a saleslady, and she provided me with some useful information, but unfortunately the bag was unavailable in that store.
- The first is a Speedy, that much I know.
- It’s probably a vintage piece, or could be a limited edition.
- She has so many, I need to be more specific!
I’m still not sure about the result. But after hours of investigating, I’m pretty sure it’s a vintage Louis Vuitton Speedy, probably a 30 or 35. I narrowed it down to a few possibilities, but honestly, there are so many variations!
Finally, I decided to check out some resale websites, like, you know, the ones where people sell their designer stuff. I figured maybe someone was selling the exact bag Taylor had.
I searched and searched, and guess what? I think I found one! At the very least,I get a very close one! It wasn’t cheap, but hey, it’s Taylor Swift’s bag (or very, very similar)!
So yeah, that’s how I spent my day – tracking down a Louis Vuitton bag. It was a bit of an adventure, but totally worth it. Now I can channel my inner Taylor, even if it’s just with a handbag.
