The Hunt Begins

First off, I tried to find it in-store. I hit up a couple of Sephoras, but no luck. Apparently, it’s super popular, or maybe my local stores just don’t stock a ton of it. Whatever. So, I went online.

Online Ordering

I found their offical website, and went straightly to the product page.

Added it to my cart, checked out – pretty standard stuff. I did have a minor heart attack at the price, ngl, but I’d already committed. Plus, I used one of those coupon codes I found online, so that softened the blow a little.

The Waiting Game

The shipping felt like it took forever, even though it was probably only, like, five days. I’m just impatient, okay? I kept checking the tracking number, like, every hour. Judge me, I don’t care.

Unboxing Time!

Finally, it arrived! The packaging was pretty fancy – nice box, tissue paper, the whole shebang. Made me feel a little less guilty about the price, haha. The gloss itself is in this pretty, sleek tube. Very minimalist, very chic.

First Application

Okay, so, moment of truth. I twisted it open, and the first thing I noticed was the texture. It’s not sticky at all! Which is a HUGE win for me. I hate that feeling of having sticky lips. It went on super smooth, like, unbelievably smooth. It felt more like a balm than a gloss, honestly.

The Results

  • Shine: It’s definitely glossy, but not, like, blindingly so. It’s more of a subtle, healthy-looking sheen.
  • Color: It gives a tiny hint of color, and makes my lip looks fuller and healthier.
  • Feel: My lips felt instantly hydrated. And that feeling lasted for a good few hours, which is impressive.
  • Scent: There’s a very faint, almost undetectable scent. Kinda…floral? I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it’s pleasant.

The Verdict

So, is it worth the hype (and the price)? Honestly…yeah, I think it is. I’ve been using it every day since I got it, and I’m officially obsessed. My lips feel amazing, and I love the subtle shine. It’s become my go-to for that “no-makeup makeup” look. Would I buy it again? Absolutely. My wallet might cry a little, but my lips will thank me.
