Styling the m.i.a clothing line: Outfit Ideas for Every Occasion (Get Inspired)

That M.I.A, she a singer, right? Singing them songs, real loud. Now she got them m.i.a clothing line. Clothes, you know? Shirts and pants and whatnot. I seen ’em online. Bright colors, lots of patterns. Not like what we used to wear, no sir.

When I was a girl, we just had a few dresses. Sunday dress, school dress, work dress. That was it. Now they got clothes for everything! Clothes for sleeping, clothes for dancing, clothes for just sitting around. It’s a wonder they got time to do anything, with all them outfit changes.

This m.i.a clothing line, it’s kinda wild. Like a rainbow threw up on a bedsheet. Got them stripes and them dots and them…I don’t even know what them shapes is. Geometric, I heard someone say. Sounds like something from a school book. All I know is it make your eyes hurt.

  • Bright colors, yeah, that’s what they got.
  • Lots of patterns, all mixed up.
  • Kinda expensive, if you ask me.
  • They say it is fashion.

Now, I ain’t saying it’s bad, mind you. Just different. Back in my day, we didn’t have no m.i.a clothing line. We had Sears, maybe. And you got what you got. Didn’t have no choices like they got today. Maybe it’s good, all them choices. Keeps things interesting, I suppose.

They say this M.I.A, she’s from somewhere far away. Across the ocean, I reckon. Maybe that’s why the clothes look so…foreign. Like they from another planet. Not bad, just…different. Like I said before.

I seen some folks wearing them m.i.a clothing line clothes around here. Young folks, mostly. They like them bright colors. Makes ’em stand out, I guess. Like a peacock in a chicken coop. Not that I got anything against peacocks. They pretty birds.

My granddaughter, she got one of them shirts. From that m.i.a clothing line. Pink and orange and green, all swirled together. Looks like a spilled paint can, if you ask me. But she likes it. Says it’s “cool.” Kids these days, they got their own language, I swear.

She wanted me to get one too. Said I’d look “hip.” I told her I was too old to be hip. My hips don’t work like they used to, anyway. Besides, I like my old clothes. Comfortable, you know? Don’t need no fancy m.i.a clothing line to feel good.

  • Young folks like it, I guess.
  • My granddaughter, she got a shirt.
  • Too bright for me, though.
  • She said I should be “hip”, no way.

But I gotta say, it’s interesting, seeing all these new things. Even if I don’t understand ’em. The world keeps changing, that’s for sure. Faster and faster, it seems. Hard to keep up sometimes. But that’s alright. I got my rocking chair and my knitting. I’m content.

This m.i.a clothing line, it’s just another thing. Another new thing in a world full of new things. It’ll come and go, like everything else. But for now, it’s here. Making a splash. Like a big, colorful rock in a quiet pond.

I guess fashion is like that. Always changing. Like the weather. One day it is sunny, next day it is raining. This m.i.a clothing line, maybe it is a little bit of both. Sunny and rainy at the same time. All them colors, all them patterns. It is a lot to take in.

I remember one time, I went to the Art Museum. I don’t know about you, but every time I go to an art museum, there’s always at least one painting that makes me scratch my head. This m.i.a clothing line, it is kind of like that. It is like one of them paintings that you do not really get, but you look at it anyway because it is different.

Maybe that is the point. To be different. To stand out. Like I said before, a peacock in a chicken coop. Or maybe it is just about making money. Selling clothes, that is a good business, I suppose. People always need clothes. Even if they are bright and crazy like these m.i.a clothing line ones.

  • Fashion is always changing.
  • Like the weather, you know?
  • m.i.a clothing line is like modern art.
  • Maybe it’s just about making money.

Well, I reckon that is all I got to say about that. My fingers are getting tired. And my eyes are getting tired of thinking about them bright colors. Time for a cup of tea, I think. And maybe a nap. This old lady needs her rest. You young folks can keep your m.i.a clothing line. I’m happy with what I got.
