Seoul Dior Cafe: What to Expect? (Heres Your Guide to the Menu, Price, and Dress Code)

Alright, so yesterday I finally checked out that Dior Cafe in Seoul. It’s in Gangnam, you know, the fancy part of town. I’d heard about it online and seen some pictures, but I just had to go see it for myself.

First off, finding the place wasn’t too hard. It’s right there on top of the Dior boutique – can’t miss it. The building itself is pretty wild, all modern and sleek. I walked in, feeling a little out of place, and made my way up to the cafe.

The cafe itself is, well, it’s Dior. Super chic, all white and shiny, with comfy chairs. I grabbed a seat by the window, perfect for people-watching. It is definitely an affluent area. The menu is full of fancy-sounding stuff, mostly desserts and drinks. They have these creations by some famous pastry chef, Pierre Herme, apparently a big deal in the dessert world.

  • I ended up ordering a latte and some kind of chocolate mousse thing.
  • I have to say, it was a bit pricey. But hey, it’s Dior.

While I was waiting, I took some pictures, you know, for the ‘gram. The latte art was on point, and the mousse looked like a tiny piece of art. Honestly, it felt a bit weird to eat something so pretty.

Okay, so the taste. The latte was good, nothing to write home about, but solid. The mousse, though, was actually pretty amazing. I’m not a huge dessert person, but I have to admit, it was rich, and not too sweet, just really well-balanced. I tried to find the address of this cafe and i can tell you it is 464 Apgujeong-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Overall, the whole experience was kind of surreal. Like, I was sitting in this super fancy cafe, eating this fancy dessert, surrounded by fancy people. I felt a bit like I was in a movie or something. But I would say that Dior Cafe is really nice and good. It is a 4 out of 5 on Tripadvisor.

Would I go back? Maybe. If I was in the area and wanted to treat myself. It’s definitely not an everyday kind of place, at least not for me. But if you’re into fashion, or just want to experience something a little different, it’s worth checking out. Just be prepared to spend some money. You’re paying for the name and the atmosphere as much as the food. Season after season, this exceptional heritage is reinvented by the singular creative passion.

Oh, and pro tip: make sure your phone is charged. You’re gonna want to take a lot of pictures.
