Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with the Rainbow Daytona for, like, forever. I finally decided to take the plunge and try to find one. It was a JOURNEY, let me tell you.
The Hunt Begins
First, I scoured all the usual online marketplaces. You know, the big ones. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I was starting to think this watch was a myth.
Then, I started hitting up some smaller forums and groups. I figured, maybe someone in a niche community would have a lead. I spent hours reading through old posts and sending out messages.
Dead Ends and Disappointments
- I found one listing, got super excited, and then… it turned out to be a scam. Ugh.
- Another time, I thought I had a solid lead, but the seller ghosted me. So frustrating!
- I even considered buying a replica, but something about it just felt wrong. I wanted the real deal.
Getting Creative.
I decided to change my tactics. I started networking, reaching to people. I have never done this.
Making Progress
The most challenge part is that you keep going. After many days, finally I got one!
