Okay, so I’ve been feeling… off lately. Like, more tired than usual, my sleep’s been messed up, and I’ve been getting these weird hot flashes. My friend, bless her heart, suggested it might be perimenopause starting up. I’m, like, 45, so it’s definitely possible. She told me she’d been taking some supplements and they really helped, so I decided to do some digging, too. I landed on this one called “Olly” and thought I would try it.

My Olly Experiment

First thing I did was go straight to looking this thing up. I wanted to make sure to find them, and see what they are all about. After I ordered them, I decided I would track my progress daily.

Day 1:

  • Took the Olly vitamins, they were gummies, pretty tasty, I took the recommended dose.
  • Felt pretty normal, probably just placebo effect at this point.
  • Still had that afternoon slump where I just wanted to crawl under my desk and nap.

Day 3:

  • Okay, maybe it’s not just placebo. I think I slept a little better last night. Usually, I wake up like three times, but I think I only woke up once? Progress!
  • Still had a hot flash, though. Ugh. It was right in the middle of a meeting, too. Super embarrassing.

Day 7:

  • I slept so well, and woke up, and only once. I cannot remember the last time that happened.
  • I made it through an entire workday without feeling like I needed a gallon of coffee to survive.

Day 14:

  • Hot flashes are way less frequent. Like, maybe one or two a day instead of, like, five or six. Huge improvement.
  • My mood feels… more stable? I haven’t had any major meltdowns this week, which is a win. My husband is probably relieved, haha.

Day 21:

  • Okay, I’m officially a believer. I still get the occasional hot flash, but they’re so much milder.
  • Sleep is consistently better. I’m actually waking up feeling rested, which is amazing.
  • My energy levels are much more stable throughout the day. I am a believer.

So overall, for me after the 3 weeks, these Olly supplements are a big improvement! I also found that drinking more water, cutting back on caffeine after lunch, and trying to get at least a little exercise every day helped. I am going to keep taking these, they really did make an improvement.
