Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this Prada Villains 2012 thing. I seen it on that internet thingamajig. You know, that thing my grandson is always glued to? Anyway, it was a sight, I tell ya. A whole bunch of fellas, all dressed up in fancy clothes, walkin’ down a long line. They call it a “runway.” Land sakes, it looked like they were steppin’ out of one of them old-timey movies.
They wasn’t no regular folks, though. These were them Hollywood types, them actors. And let me tell ya, they looked like a bunch of… well, villains! Like they was about to rob a bank or somethin’. One of ’em, this fella named Gary Oldman, he’s been in a lot of movies. He was there, lookin’ all serious and whatnot. I tell you, this was in 2012, but still it was a good show.
And there was another one, skinny fella, name of Adrien Brody. He was in that movie about the piano player, you know the one. He was there too, lookin’ all… fancy. Like he owned the whole dang place.
Now, I ain’t no fashion expert. I wear my old dresses and that’s that. But this Prada, it’s a big name, I guess. They make all them fancy clothes that cost more than my whole house. And they had this show, back in 2012, and it was all about these… villain fellas.
They had this other fella, Willem Dafoe. He’s got a face that could curdle milk, I swear. He was walkin’ down that runway, lookin’ like he was gonna bite somebody. And another one, Tim Roth, he was there too. They all had these long coats and fancy hats. Looked like they were gonna take over the world or somethin’.
Why they call ’em villains, I don’t rightly know. They just actors, playin’ a part. But they sure looked the part, I’ll give ’em that. It was like watchin’ a movie, right there on that internet thing.
I remember seein’ pictures of it. All these fellas, dressed up like they from a different time. It was somethin’ else, I tell ya. All them fancy clothes and serious faces. Like they were plannin’ somethin’ big. This was a long time ago, back in 2012. But this Prada Villains thing, it stuck with me.
They don’t do things like that around here. We got our county fair, and that’s about it. But this Prada show, it was somethin’ different. Somethin’ fancy. Somethin’ to talk about. They put these movie stars on the runway, not those regular skinny models. It was a big deal, I guess. Everyone was talking about it.
- Gary Oldman
- Adrien Brody
- Willem Dafoe
- Tim Roth
I seen folks talkin’ about it online, sayin’ it was the best thing ever. Sayin’ it was “iconic.” I don’t know about all that. But it was somethin’ to see, that’s for sure. Them Prada folks, they know how to put on a show. Even if it’s all about villains.
It was like they were tryin’ to tell a story, with the clothes and the way they walked. Like they were characters in a movie. A movie about fancy-dressed villains. And this was back in 2012, mind you. Old news now, but still somethin’ to remember.
I reckon some folks thought it was silly. Dressin’ up actors like that. But I thought it was kinda neat. Somethin’ different. Somethin’ you don’t see every day. Especially not around here.
They had all these other fellas there too. Emile Hirsch, Garrett Hedlund, and Jamie Bell. I ain’t seen all their movies, but I recognize their faces. They all looked like they belonged in that Prada show. Like they were born to wear them fancy clothes and look all serious. All part of this Prada Villains 2012 thing. It was a big to-do.
It just goes to show, you never know what you gonna see on that internet. One day it’s cats playin’ the piano, the next it’s Hollywood actors dressed up like villains, walkin’ down a runway for Prada. It’s a crazy world, I tell ya. A crazy, mixed-up world. But sometimes, it’s kinda fun to watch. Especially when it’s somethin’ as strange and fancy as that Prada show from 2012.
I don’t know much about fashion, that’s for sure. But I know what I like. And I liked that Prada Villains 2012 show. It was a hoot. A real hoot.
