You all hear about that Pandora diamonds commercial? That thing on the TV. My granddaughter, she loves that kind of stuff, all sparkly and shiny. She told me it’s all about that love thing, “Be Love” or something like that.

They got some fancy folks in it, that Pamela Anderson, she’s still around. And some singers, two sisters, sing real good. They call them Chloe and Halle something. Sound like some kind of a food to me.
Pandora Diamonds, All Sparkly
Anyway, this commercial, it’s all about them diamonds. Pandora diamonds, that’s what they’re called. My old man, he never bought me no diamonds. Said I was his diamond, ha! But these Pandora ones, they’re made in a lab, not dug up from the ground. Like those fake plants, but shiny rocks, you know?
They say it’s better, this lab thing. Don’t gotta dig up the earth, make a big mess. And they’re cheaper too, I hear. Maybe my granddaughter can get one. She deserves a little sparkle, that girl works hard.
Them Fancy Ladies in the Commercial
So, they got this Pamela Anderson, she’s wearing them diamonds. And them singing sisters, Chloe and Halle, they got them on too. Lots of pretty ladies, all dressed up. Makes you wanna buy some, even if you don’t need ’em.
- Pamela Anderson, all smiling
- Chloe and Halle, singing pretty
- Some other models, looking all fancy
That’s what these commercials do, make you want things. Like that time they had that commercial for that special soap, said it would make you young again. Well, I bought it, and I’m still old!

What’s This “Be Love” Thing?
This Pandora commercial, it’s got that “Be Love” thing all over it. Guess it means to be nice to folks, love your family, that kind of stuff. We all need more of that, I reckon. This world’s getting meaner every day.
They show folks hugging and smiling, looking all happy. Like them Hallmark movies my granddaughter watches. All sweet and nice, not like real life, but it’s nice to see. Makes you feel good for a minute.
Diamonds for Everyone?
They say these Pandora diamonds are for everyone. “Diamonds for All,” they call it. ‘Cause they’re made in a lab, they’re not so expensive. Maybe that’s true. I don’t know much about diamonds, never had any.
But it’s a nice thought, everyone getting to have something pretty. Like them flowers I grow in my garden. Everyone can have some, they don’t cost nothing but a little work. Maybe these diamonds are like that, a little sparkle for everyone. That’s a good thing, I think.
My granddaughter, she showed me the commercial on her phone. It’s all bright and colorful. That Chloe, she wears a whole bunch of that jewelry, rings and bracelets and such. That Halle, she sings that song “To Love Somebody”. That’s a good song, heard it a long time ago. It’s like those Bee Gees fellas, good stuff.

Lab-Grown, What’s That About?
This lab-grown diamonds thing, that’s new to me. They say it’s just like the real ones, but made by people, not by God. I don’t know about all that. Seems strange, making diamonds in a lab. Like making a baby in a bottle, that’s not natural.
But they say it’s better for the earth. Don’t gotta dig big holes, ruin the land. And it’s better for people too, I guess. No folks getting hurt digging for them diamonds. So maybe it’s a good thing after all.
That’s what they are pushing on, that Pandora lab-grown diamonds. They are saying it’s all about love and being good to the earth. And they are cheaper than those ones you dig out of the ground. I guess it’s a good message, love is important, especially these days.
That Pandora diamonds commercial, it sure is something. Makes you think about things, even if you’re just an old lady like me. Maybe I’ll ask my granddaughter to show it to me again. It’s kinda pretty, and that song is catchy. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll get me one of them lab-grown diamonds. A little sparkle never hurt nobody.
They got all kinds of folks in that commercial, not just them famous ones. Regular folks too, all smiling and happy. Guess that’s the point, to show that everyone can have a little bit of that diamond sparkle in their life. That’s a nice thought, ain’t it?

This Pandora, they’re smart, I’ll give ’em that. They know how to sell things. Make you feel good, make you want things. That’s what they do. And it works, ’cause here I am talking about it, ain’t I?
