Okay, so I’ve been meaning to watch this documentary, “Ruth Finley,” about the creator of the Fashion Calendar. I finally got around to it today, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey just figuring out how to watch it!
First, I googled “nyfw ruth finely documentary” thinking it would be easy to find. Nope. Lots of articles about the documentary, but no clear place to actually see it. It was frustrating!
Then, I remembered reading somewhere that it might be connected to NYFW somehow, since, you know, Ruth Finley and the Fashion Calendar are pretty central to that whole thing.
So, I dug around some more, searching specifically for NYFW’s website and looking for any mention of the film. Still, it wasn’t obvious.
Finally I look for the keyword,and got some information and saw the film. It’s so amazing!
My takeaway
- Persistence is key. Sometimes finding these niche documentaries takes a little extra effort.
- Don’t give up! I almost threw in the towel, but I’m glad I kept digging.
- I also made it!And the documentary is well made.
It was all worth it in the end, though. The documentary was super interesting, and I learned a ton about the history of New York Fashion Week and the incredible woman behind it * you enjoy fashion,that is a must-watch.
