Okay, so I’ve been seeing the Burberry Goddess perfume everywhere, and the Ilona Maher campaign? Obsessed. I finally caved and decided to try creating a look inspired by the whole vibe. It’s all about that confident, strong, but still feminine energy, you know?

First, I prepped my skin. Good makeup starts with a good base, right? I used my regular moisturizer and then a primer to make everything smooth and even. Nothing fancy, just my usual stuff.
Face
- I went for a foundation that’s not too heavy, but still gives good coverage. I wanted my skin to look like my skin, but better.
- Then, I applied some concealer under my eyes and on any blemishes. I really blended it out so it looked natural.
- Bronzer was key! I wanted that sun-kissed, goddess-y glow. I applied it to my cheekbones, temples, and jawline – basically, where the sun would naturally hit.
- I added a touch of blush, a peachy shade, to the apples of my cheeks for a healthy flush.
- Highlighter! I used a shimmery, champagne-colored highlighter on my cheekbones, brow bone, and the inner corners of my eyes to really make them pop.
Eyes
I kept the eyes pretty simple, but still impactful.
- I used a neutral eyeshadow palette. I applied a light, shimmery shade all over my lid.
- Then, I took a slightly darker, warmer brown and blended it into my crease to add some definition.
- I lined my upper lash line with a brown eyeliner – I didn’t want anything too harsh.
- Lots and lots of mascara! I curled my lashes first and then applied several coats to make them look full and fluttery.
Lips
I debated between a nude lip and a bolder lip, but ultimately decided to go with a nude.
- I used a creamy, nude lipstick that’s just a shade or two darker than my natural lip color.
- I added a touch of gloss in the center of my lips for some extra shine.
The Finish
Finally, I spritzed on some setting spray to make sure everything stayed in * I put my hair down to make it looks more naturally.
And that’s it! I feel like I achieved that effortless, confident look. It’s not exactly like the Ilona Maher campaign, but it’s inspired by it, and I think it turned out pretty good! It’s definitely a look I’ll be wearing again.
